Itachi has great genjutsu and above good ninjutsu but not incredible taijutsu,His taijutsu is a little above average.His ninjutsu aresanal is not that bad but doesn't have that much deadly move's beside amerterasu.I don't know why you guys say his taijutsu incredible there's nothing backing that up.
the databook backs it up he has a 4.5 in taijutsu which is actually pretty good. His ninjutsu is also really good he has a 5 and we have seen him in action only a few times(where he is trying) that is why we have not seen him using to his fullest ability, we saw a little bit in when he fought bee where he was fast and proficient in firestyle ninjutsu.

a lot of ppl were afraid of him even his own partner who is crazy strong was cautious of him. Itachi never wanted to be leader he was in akatsuki to help konoha by keeping tabs on akatsuki's actions.

Itachi wasent leader of Akatsuki, because he only joined to spy on them, since they were a threat to leaf village.- Itachi had no plans on being a leader because he wasent really down with them.
He was basically just hangin with them collecting info,
Although he was actually supposed to capture Naruto when he fought kakashi & Kurenai & Asuma, Itachi's only reason for returning to Konoha after the death of the Third Hokage was to remind Danzō and the other two village elders that he was still alive and not to harm his younger brother.
Itachi is respected and feared by alot of ninja:
Orochimaru, stated he was too powerful, so he failed trying to take itachis body, and almost got killed. Therefore he went After the baby, SASUKE.
Kisame fears itachi, and respects his strenght extra cautious of him, following his every command
His dad respected his strenght and thought of him as the uchiha's future:
Since shusui, entrusted him with his Eye, he mustve respected itachi and admired his strenght, so give up an Eye for him.

Kakashi praised his strenght, and couldnt handle the fake one.
Kabuto said he was on another level than the others.
After deidara got owned by itachi when deidara 1st joined, He swore vengence against itachi, cuz he was beaten, and aknowleged his strenght
Zetsu make multiple comments, about How Strong itachi was:
Even sasuke said " I cant imagine what itachi been thorugh" he was reffering about the strain of susano'o. And how itachi can take it.
So who hasent respected itachi's power and Feared him?!........

surprised in you dude, the databooks are crap as hell.
Almost everyone has rating of 4.5-5 in ninjutsu, does that mean they all have strong jutsu like a wind rasengan.
Same taijutsu dude, gai for example. His taijutsu is 5 and itachi is 4.5. Do you really think itachi would actually be dumb enought to attack gai with taijutsu and hope to do anything. That would open up itachi against gai if he used taijutsu. The same with the riakage. If you dont have stronger taijutsu than them and your actually thinking about using taijutsu then your just want to get owned.
Just remember why Sasuke didnt die, sasuke covered HIMSELF WITH HAX flames not the other way around. Itachi cant do this so he would have be even more careful when his not in sassano mode.
Itachi fights a certain wa when he is physically outmatched, and thats elemental jutsu to get an opening to use his genjutsu. His taijutsu would help him against guys like kahashi but ifs hes fighting people like Gai, Raikage, naruto he cant affort to attack them with taijutsu and potenially leave himself open for massive damage.
Stop using those databook valves, they dont mean anything for top level shinobi, I would have though fans would know this by now. Because if you notice all the ninja listed that jounin all have near max stats in 2-3 catergorys.
Look at sakura stats for hand seals and intellgenice they are 4, and itachi's is 5. Does this mean in a fight that her intellgenice and hand seals are almost as good as itachi's? NO, we know better or should at least.
This just for general for the thread,
Look at itachi for what he is and how he fights various guys, dont make up stuff by trying to make him better than he is. He has weaknesses and Itachi is smart enough to not go around using taijutsu against guys he knows he get damaged heavily, thats what sasuke does.
And if Itachi didnt have the legendary weapons, I doubt people wouldn't even hype Itachi this much.
There's a good saying for these sort of things "The weapon doesnt make the man"
And if Raikage didnt have speed he would be nothing
If garra had no sand he would be nothin
If kakashi had no Sharingan he would practically be nothing
If Sakura had no strenght she would be nothin
If Minato wasent fast he would be nothin
If Madara had no sharingan he would be nothin

dude i kno that databook is not that great i used as a secondary proof just to show he is above average in taijutsu which ppl were saying that he was bad at. It still shows that he is decently good and can hold his own but not at the lvl of guy, i was just using as one source(not great one) saying that he is atleast above average in taijutsu. And i am just stating that he is also potentially decent at taijutsu and pretty good at ninjutsu considering he was a genius and evrything in the uchiha clan, it was my secondary backup but i admit it is almost worthless cos according to it tsunade is better than naruto and we kno that is false, but it can give you a insight into ability into what they have not shown ie ninjutsu all i am saying it is higly likely itachi has pretty good fire and water style jutsus but we never kno until we seen it.

kakashi would still be something considering he has good ninjutsu and speed but not as good as he is now. And you forgot nagato without rinnegan he would be nothing. And you are right ppl all have their sources of power and getting the 3 ms abilities is no joke only a genius can do it.

The only one that can defeat Itachi is someone with a more powerful Genjutsu.. cuz no matter how fast and powerful you are you still cant avoid Itachi's eyes.
Those actually are their abilities though the weapons are not itach's abilities.
But u are saying itachi is who he is because of the legendary weapons he found. And therefore according to ur post would be talking away his strength that makes him powerful and reduce him to nothing?
Here's something all you itachi fans boys can learn from a real naruto manga fan.
Itachi isnt powerful becuase of the legendary weapons, I was saying that the recent threads about itachi being unbeatable and can own any kage etc.., stem from poeple just saying he would do this and that because of the legendary weapons he found and your fogeting what itachi can and cant do himself.
There was a time itachi or orochimaru didn't have such items, and just because a ninja gets these items this doesnt mean the items do all the work and just by having them you can own anyone.
The manga would be not have been a success as it is if any ninja with an item can be unbeatable. For example would fans like it if some fodder ninja got the items and he kills a great shinobi just like that. But people dont mind itachi having them.
