Sasuke would be at a disadvantage if he goes for a battle of defense,

susanoo costs a hell of alot of chakra while (correct me if im wrong) Gaara's automatic sand defense doesn't cost him any chakra, His sand armor does tho

That's why I said arrow would sneak , Sasuke should sneak attack past defense or Gaara would just keep defending himself

sand burrial is gaara's only chance against sasuke and it wouldn't work bcuz sasuke will fly via hawk, sasuke can tank any of gaara's attack with susanoo, but can gaara tank kirin, susanoo's punch/arrows? We still don't know if gaara can evade tskuyomi so stop sayin a ghost will put him out of it.

who ever said that Sasuke barely beat Danzo well he had to kill him almost eleven times thats not barely defeating someone...Btw sasukes weakest chidori back in the chuunin exams pierced gaara's then to be absolute defense...and really his dense sand guarding him from susanno'o? really?

I find it sad that the biggest supporter of Gaara is one who takes almost no proof and then exaggerates abilities. I'll admit that Gaara would be a very tough battle for Sasuke but on that bridge Gaara doesn't have access to unlimited sand like he does in the middle of the desert (like right now fighting the former kages so anything seen there doesn't apply because this fight was on a bridge above a river).

That being said gaara would not have access to enough sand to do the sand burial technique on Susanoo. And since they are in the open Sasuke has access to Kirin by heating up the sky with katon. Now as we all know lightning beats earth in the Naruto world and Kirin is the strongest lightning technique as Sasuke is just redirecting actual lightning being formed. Gaara's defense is strong but if Deidara's bombs can get through it then so can Kirin which has an elemental bonus helping it plus is uber powerful even without the weakness earth has to it. Since Gaara fights his fights from a stationary position he is an easy target for Kirin. Game over. Kirin beats him

Now this fight might turn out differently in different locations but on the bridge above a river Sasuke wins.

narutoking he can't block it because that was doton vs doton but this is lightning vs earth(sand) and kirin is way too powerful. And exaar all he has to do is shoot to 2 fire style jutsus in the sky and then use the lightning from there and the tech is extremely fast a 1/1000 of a second, zetsu says that and he can defend himself by his amaterasu shield or susano to protect him it is so easy for him to do it.
