Itachi / Kisame vs. Jiraiya

I cannot believe people actually believe this match would draw..

No Intel (Except the ones they already have of each other, duh)

Anyone who says Jiraiya wins is a fan-boy, unless they explain why in the fullest detail.

Obviously Itachi was lying when he said they would draw, because he was secretly working with the village, not against it!

i dont know why you said itachi was lying because nothing proves that. he may have been working for the village but that doesnt mean he wasnt telling the truth. itachi normal sharingan (no MS) and kisame vs jiraiya would more than likely be a draw. and dont talk about amaterasu and susanoo because that is MS and itachi couldnt use MS at that point against jiraiya because he would have died from using it like he did against sasuke. itachi saved his MS for sasuke so he wouldnt of been able to use it against jiraiya thats probably why he said it would be a draw. if itachi could use his MS against jiraiya then yes itachi and kisame would win but without it it would be a draw as itachi said

Although he was tired, Kisame could have gave Jiraiya a tough time, considering water > fire / earth. People really underestimate Kisame, and Itachi obviously was working with the Leaf Village and didn't want Naruto captured, otherwise he would have put him to sleep in the beginning.

Did you not see Kisame's fight against Hachibi's Jinchuriki? He's no pushover. Itachi didn't want any casualties, which is why he ordered Kisame to not fight any of Konoha's men.

well i dont kno who would win but this is what i think.. jiraiya in sage mode easily beats kisame, strength wise, and his speed in sage mode is enuf to avoid the amaTee...but itachi and kisa are the best team of the akatsuki...theres no beating a perfect team..jiraiya can handle one but not both simultaneously...thought if he gets kisa caught in the toad sages gen really quik..then maybe but wait no samehada wakes him...nvm akatsuki win xD

im not overating anyone..i just said he beats kisame strength wise in SM...not totally beat..im saying jiraiya in sage mode has itachi's speed and kisame's strength...i say this becuase jiraiya's SM is way better than naruto's..and naruto kill a pain with just a punch..imagine what would happen if jiraiya hits anyone them..its over...but i dont think kisame can handle jiraiya alone and kisame is my fav char...and of course B beats jiraiya.. he's the hachibi..i dont think anyone can beat the 2nd strongest tailed beast..but i am saying jiraya loses to itachi and kisa mos def!

That doesn't even matter. Even if that were true you swtiching from plot to skills to make a point. I go from statements then if there is no statements saying the other is stronger than i argue until someone comes with a better justu that counters.

This is what Itach and Kisame said in the manga version:

Kisame : While you may be able to manage against him, I couldn't possibly...He's in a completely different level...
Itachi : Yeah... If we go at each other, well' either both be killed or at best, kill each other simultaneously.
Itachi: Even if we increased the numbers, that wouldn't change.
Kisame : I didn't expect the kid's gauge would be a legendary Sannin. With him as the opponent...the names of the Leaf Village's Uchiha Clan and the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist would be tarnished.
Itachi : Yeah, However... Any strong one has a weakness...

It's clear as day...

i mean really jiraiya CANT beat MS. just to remind you of something every MS user we've known of have been beaten. not just that, every uchiha has been killed. these things tell me that every form of sharingan is beatable so to say that a ninja of jiraiya's level CANT beat an MS user is kind of ridiculous. itachi is not invincible seeing as how he's dead. yeah he lost on purpose but he was taken to his limits by sasuke and so he died as a result. sasuke at that point was nowhere near jiraiya's level so i'm pretty sure jiraiya could take itachi to his limits. jiraiya may not kill itachi but itachi will be dead after the battle because of his sickness and going blind from using MS. in the end jiraiya walks away alive and itachi is dead. furthermore jiraiya is better than kisame I dont know why you say he isnt. kisame was beaten by Might Gai so since he beat kisame is he better than bee or jiraiya? no he isnt. just because you beat one person doesnt make you better than another. in part 1 itachi told kisame that if he fought kakashi it would be a battle with cost. kakashi at that point was nowhere near jiraiya's level so kisame is dead. yes itachi was working for konoha but that doesnt make anything that he said any less true.

also i love kenpai's statement. kisame cant beat jiraiya he said so himself. furthermore itachi didnt know about sage mode so itachi would probably lose not tie

i agree xD..but zetsu said itachi wasnt moving like he used to (not qouted)..so sasuke fought a blind, low reacting itachi U_U dang itachi , u couldnt find a medic lol

Itachi Uchiha could solo by himself if he didn't waste his Mangekyo powers fighting Kakashi, Sasuke. Just admit Jiraiya isn't all you hype him up to be, and would lose in this scenario.

by "master" they meant he could go in fast and maintain it, he was forced becuz he couldnt fuse with the toad sages..but jiraiya's sage mode is infinite, being that as long as he had the 2 toads on his shoulder it would never go out...and jiraiya is still way stronger than naruto..strength, and taijutsu wise

Naruto doesn't need the Toads, unlike Jiraiya, which is why he mastered it. Strength wise and Taijutsu wise, yea.

U really cant judge a naruto fight without it actually happening. every fight u see some1 do something different so u cant rule out any option.

also there is no way kisame is better than jiraya. if it wasnt for itachi using hes amaratsu to flee he would of died.
and in itachi's state i believe it would be a draw as he would b pushing it to far trying to kill jiraya.
