u think cuz gaara is a kage then that makes him strong so then i guess naruto is also kage level and i mean b4 he got sage mode and 9 tails mode cuz he beat gaara twice. gaara could never beat a water style user as shown in the last couple of episodes in naruto part 1 and suigetsu can turn his body into water. btw i dont hate gaara it just annoys me when people overhype stuff from him weve never seen from him

dude if it wasnt for the sand he used to cushion him gaara would have lost to lee and hes gotten even better at the eight gates technique even kakashi said those who master it can have powers greter than that of the kage not that gaara is like hiruzen minato or even the raikage. plus im not defendin him like my girlfriend im giving valid reasons based on facts on what we've seen in the manga and anime to defend him..

I just have a question: how do you people know (unless you don't work directly for Masashi Kishimoto) that Gaara's absolute defense can't deal with Susanoo? have you seen it? and before I get attacked by all the Sasuke boys, I'm not saying anything, maybe those arrows are too strong for Gaara but what if they aren't?

sasuke(teleportation jutsu) could easily break through his sand shield but he would have problems sand armor. sasuke susanoo is fast and powerful went straight wood style. kirin would also mess him up . if they were in a desert sasuke would more than likely die! but gaara world be ****ed up.

I don't think Karura can break a genjutsu, cause she is dead and the sand is just a manifestation of her love. an intelligent person would say that this battle would be a very difficult one to predict and a great one to watch. but to say Gaara would win for sure or Sasuke would beat him EASILY(???) is just stupid. as for the genjutsu, you know people can actually defend against them and being that we have never seen Gaara train or being put under one, you don't know how good he is at that. or we could just say"hey anyone who goes against Sasuke is gonna lose in the end cause he has tsukuyomi! I find it sad that the biggest supporter of Gaara is one who takes almost no proof and then exaggerates abilities. I'll admit that Gaara would be a very tough battle for Sasuke but on that bridge Gaara doesn't have access to unlimited sand like he does in the middle of the desert (like right now fighting the former kages so anything seen there doesn't apply because this fight was on a bridge above a river).

That being said gaara would not have access to enough sand to do the sand burial technique on Susanoo. And since they are in the open Sasuke has access to Kirin by heating up the sky with katon. Now as we all know lightning beats earth in the Naruto world and Kirin is the strongest lightning technique as Sasuke is just redirecting actual lightning being formed. Gaara's defense is strong but if Deidara's bombs can get through it then so can Kirin which has an elemental bonus helping it plus is uber powerful even without the weakness earth has to it. Since Gaara fights his fights from a stationary position he is an easy target for Kirin. Game over. Kirin beats him

Now this fight might turn out differently in different locations but on the bridge above a river Sasuke wins.

It's a matter of who breaks first.There are 2 scenarios

1) Sasuke Susanoo's arrow sneaks to Gaara past his sand . Amaterasu isn't effective here , as Gaara can block it with sand as we have seen, moreover If Sasuke spams it the sand will turn against Sasuke (burning sand)

2) Sasuke starts to lose his eyesight & susanoo breaks out ( that is Gaara's only way to reach Sasuke , which is to hold himself until Susanoo wears out which is nearly Danzo's Izanagi time about 10 minutes )

How can Suigestsu get Gaara in the air?? Gaara wud just quick sand him. LOL that is a pointless argument, ur saying suigetsu is kage lvl? lol but anyways Naruto beat him back at the chunnin exams by using some fox power and Gaara was shown to be very strong even then, but then he got a lot stronger to protect ppl and right now Naruto is kage lvl btw actually stronger than the kages

I agree with u completely, Gaara is increbily strong, he made kage at age 16??!! Now that is crazy, if Gaara keeps getting stronger he can get into top 10 ninja list if he isnt one of them already.

for everyone saying that since gaara's sand could block amaterasu it is as fast as amaterasu go look at gaara vs deidara thread created by thenarutoking. go to page 6 and read my post. it clearly explains why you're wrong. but anyway i will give another example of why you are wrong now. i will also explain that kakashi can beat gaara with ease if you're right.

i believe that everyone agrees sasuke's susanoo arrows are incredibly fast and are on par in speed with amaterasu and the reaction and defense speed of gaara's sand. in kakashi's fight against sasuke when sasuke launched an arrow kakashi blocked (or warped) it using kamui. now according to thenarutoking this means that kakashi and his kamui are faster than the arrows and thus are faster than amaterasu. this also means that kakashi's kamui is as fast or faster than gaara's sand. if thenarutoking denies this he is obviously a hypocrite because according to him if you can block something you are as faster or faster than the attack. so let's pit kakashi against gaara. ding the bell rings oh wait kamui in a second and gaara is dead. now wait a second did kakashi just beat gaara in a second? yes he did because he is faster than amaterasu and susanoo's arrows. thenarutoking then replies there's no way that would happen gaara would block that attack. i then reply nope according to you a jutsu that can block amaterasu or susanoo's arrows can end a battle in a second and dont give people enough time to react which means gaara cant defend. thenarutoking then says thats not how it would go at all. then i reply why not that how it went with gaara's sand so why cant that be the case with kakashi's kamui? oh wait thats right it wouldnt go that way because you're a gaara fan and make theories to suit your own beliefs and only count the ones that benefit you.

Sasuke would be at a disadvantage if he goes for a battle of defense,

susanoo costs a hell of alot of chakra while (correct me if im wrong) Gaara's automatic sand defense doesn't cost him any chakra, His sand armor does tho
