Signature size

I was just wondering since I know a lot of people use signatures, if there are any rules as to what a signature should abide by? Because through reading the rules recently it says that signature sizes should be 600x150 px, but I've also noticed no one really cares about that, nor is anything done about it. I'm just a little confused, that's all.

Are you sure it's a guideline, because it does say rules and not guidelines. If there was maybe an update saying what size not to go over which would be quite large, for say, 700x500px or something, that'd be nice. ^_^

Signatures made for comp are usually 450 by 200. Something similar should be fine

Hmm not sure but i think there is mugiwara who tells u to reduce the size if u have too large a signature.....
but generally everyone keeps it small and within limits....so not necessary to enforce the rule as it is a matter of personal choice....
but excessively huge sigs are asked by the mods to be made small..

The rules are not guidelines. They are rules that must be followed.
The sigs should be that size, though discussion is going on about it...
