So i was thinking that the Byakugan/Hyuuga comes from the Sage of the 6 paths.
The Uzumaki was also related to him which Madara failed to mention. So its likely that Hyuuga was also related to the elder brother. While Uzumaki/Senju are from the second brother.
Ther are many similaritys to the clans of Hyuuga and Uchiha and it would give more meaning to Hinatas love for Naruto.
Similaritys are that they both used to be strict. Uciha dousnt exist now and hyuuga has changed. But I rememer Hinatas dad saying that he didnt care if she would die on a mission since that would mean she isnt powerful enough.
Ther are also only 3 doujutsus which are known as the 3 noble eyejutsus.
Byakugan has sight, and Sharingan has power. the Rinnegan has both. I think the Rinnegan split into two eyes.
Uchiha, Hyuuga, Uzumaki and Senju all have ties with Konoha.
The Elder sons eyes looks exactly like the Uzumakis crest. And the symbol that appears when something is sealed. I dont think that his eyes looked like that. I think that is a symbol that his father sealed some of the 10tails chakra inside of his eyes, blinding his vision, so that he only saw hatred and that created the kekkei genkais in Uchiha and Hyuuga.
He also sealed the 10tails chakra inside of his second son on his deathbed making him a jinchuuriki most likely of the 9tails. Since the sage had chosen him succesor and wanted him to protect people from the bijuus. The other son most likely got jealos of this and as he wanted power he asked for him to seal something in him and so he sealed some of the 10tails chakra in his eyes. This is why the sharingan can control the 9tails, and why the 9tails said Sasukes and Madaras eyes were more evil then his own chakra.
And why the Rinnegan can control the Gedo Mazo statue which holds the Bijuus and which could have been summoned from the moon and be the 10tails body. The Sharingan is also powered by hatred. As perhaps the 10tails was massive form of hatred or something.
