I got impressed by all these Castiel's threads, so i decided to make my own, unique one.

We basically don't know anything about him, but i just made a thread regardless. He was mentioned in chapter 500th, as you can see here:

Sasuke Sarutobi was the father of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the third Hokage. Sasuke Uchiha was named after him to become as great ninja as he was.

How powerful do you think he'll be? And will he ever be mentioned again? Then, since he was so powerful, why was he never appointed Hokage?

I hope we'll get some backstory of Third Hokage somehow. We're keep getting now references of either Tobirama or Minato, but both Hashirama and Hiruzen are really ignored.

I would really want to know about Hiruzen's father, his abilities, and how STRONG really he was. Kabuto should really resurrect him if he's not sealed...or maybe, he's the one who's in the HIDDEN COFFIN!? Kind of random thought, but who knows. I might be the first one to guess it.

Besides, it was right the 500TH Chapter a brand new character was mentioned. Maybe...maybe that's a hint for something?

Im keep getting random thoughts about this. But, since he was Hiruzen's father, he was even older than him, and lived in Madara's times. Maybe he knows Madara's true weakness? Something Madara's afraid of? I know there's no proven answer for that, but it was mentioned he was a powerful Ninja, and Hiruzen's father. Then maybe, it could have been even Madara's father in the coffin itself.

the third hokage's wife said that when sasuke's mom named sasuke that the third's father was an excellent shinobi of his time and hopes that sasuke uchiha also becomes a strong shinobi

Sasuke's Mother said he'll become a "Fine Ninja" because of his name. Besides, father of "Konoha's professor" couldn't be some failure. White Fang was strong too, and so are Shikamaru's father or Shino's father.

it usually works outwhere both te sons and fathers are strong but it is not always the case for example asuma was not nearly as strong as sarutobi. But you are right biwako does say that he was fine shinobi and sasuke should become like him.

I took Sarutobi Sasuke's name as my username because I really hoped that he would be resurrected as one of Kabuto's Edo zombies. And I was pretty sure that he would have been supremely awesome. But he wasn't resurrected and we'll probably never hear of him again.
