Other EMS users?

Makes you wonder if there were other EMS users. Also wouldnt it be crazy if one of them came back with Edo Tensi so we can actually see what an EMS can do.

nobody else had it. what itachi was talking about was others killed people to gain MS and then killed others to get EMS but it didnt work because the only way is to kill a sibling and take eyes. i dont believe anybody knew this so i dont think anybody else had it. also if anybody else had it the uchiha would be unbeatable

i looked at it. but i believe that he was simply saying that people tried to obtain EMS, but just because they tried doesnt mean they can. also, what would be so special about madara or sasuke if everyone could obtain EMS. the uchiha would be unstoppable with a bunch of people having EMS i just dont see anyone else having it and if they did what made them inferior to madara and why werent they ever talked about. furthermore madara was first to MS and EMS and then he was beaten by hashirama after they created village so i highly doubt that with a village and hokage that uchiha would be allowed to go around and kill each other without any repercussions. i believe that once madara obtained MS and EMS others tried but failed because if they succeeded they would have challenged madara for leadership and would have challenged hashirama as hokage

Hmmm, prolly like translation error? Maybe it was referring to the MS? But It's likely for that...But if you kill your sibling to get MS, then you can't take their eyes because they don't have MS because to get MS, they have to kill you. This isn't the case in more then two siblings btw but the Uchiha seem to birth in 2's

This is a very good point, I myself recently read this panel again for reference and noticed the same thing. My initial reaction to reading this panel again is that the statement was used some-what as an expression, to kind of accentuate the Uchiha clan's bloodlust and need for power and didn't accurately depict reality. With that, it seems very doubtful to me that the statement is 100% false.

I have to say, that it makes perfect sense that after Madara left the village, others within the clan attempted to follow in his footsteps and obtain the EMS power. Clearly, since Madara obtained it, it was within the power of all the clan members to accomplish. Its also clear that they all had access to this information via the Uchiha tablet, but Madara was simply the first to act on it.

Bottom line....I think there were, at the very minimum, attempts to attain EMS by clan members after Madara left the village. It seems plausible to me that one or two did obtain EMS after that point, as the statement suggests. However, if someone or multiple people did obtain it, they clearly played no major role in any affairs leading up to the massacre. Everyone has stated that Tobi has to be Madara because he is the only one who could have possibly done all of this, so no Uchiha was ever more powerful than him. In addition, Itachi never referenced anyone beyond the base 4 (himself, Madara, Izuna and Sasuke) as having MS. So while it is plausible, it is clear that if others did obtain it, they are not on anyone's radar; Madara, Itachi and Kabuto included.
