Is naruto or shikamaru a better hokage

D hokage is d number 1 in d village.All d past hokage have prove dat. U don't 2 b a genius 2 b an hokage they hav advisors.stragedy/smartness won't stop ppl like oro. pain. Tsunade a healer as hokage is bad enough. U r now talking about a stragedist that can fight alone or protect d village like tsunade or naruto. You must b daydreamimg.

Also the fact is Shikamaru is somewhat Lazy when it comes to doing stuff....
And on the other hand NARUTO is like the Super Hyperactive Knuckle head of Konoha....
And im sure the Hokage cant be lazy, because they have alot of work... We can see the work they have in one episode i dont know which one but Tsunade is sitting at the DESK With tons of papers she has to sign... If that was Shikamaru he would of stalled time or left for a walk...Naruto on the other hand would be hyper and fill out all the papers do to him being the hokage and its for the village

I go with Shikamaru, he stands for peace and order and will get the respect of all the kages. Of course Naruto is stronger and more populair but he aint very suitable of being hokage. I think most would agree with me so I don't need to subscribe why Shikamaru is more suitable.

naruto has respect from some kages already and he equips during battle fast anyway he might not be as smart but he has the drive to be hokage

I think bought are good at kage. Naruto gets easy new friends and ally but Shikamaru is a intelligent guy.

I would have to say Naruto, He is Powerful, will be well known soon, kind hearted and would die for his friends and village, although shikamaru would is moderately strong, a genius and would die for his friends and village, he hasn't got the fame and i believe naruto would be best at avoiding wars or confrontation with other villagers, through his charisma and good people skills

Shikamaru did not even want to become one of the twelve ninja gardian.as if he will accept the post of a hokage. i think naruto hokage,shikamaru prime advisor,sasuke second command,sakura third ,neji leader of jounin would be best.

how can this even been a topic....shikamaru will never get nominated for hokage...yea hes smart and all probably the smartest int he village with a little more time...but hes had lazy tendencies and hes no1 else understand the a "relationship" between ppl....naruto would beable to bring more alliances together with the leaf and he would have sop much help from his peers....look at all the other characters...there all in the path that every jonin and anbu and anyone helping the hokage are noe...shikamaru will be just like his father very helpful in every situtation to the hokage. and sakura will be right there just like shizune. kiba shino and hinata will be anbu. ino will be interrogation.lee probably the next academy teacher or special jonin....ten ten jonin. i can go on forever...well untill i run out of characters....but the fact of the matter im trying to point out the only character sutible for hokage is naruto...point blank period

i think it better if he become hokage strategist, just like shikaku.

I agree with those that said that Naruto would be a better Hokage but i think the Village would run smoothly if Naruto was in front like the 3rd was and have Shikamaru in the back like Danzo...its clear they are currently the best candidates being this generations Strongest and smartest so the duo would work well together

Naruto would make a much better Hokage, Shikamaru is not even currently as smart as his father who has never been nominated for Hokage.

If Naruto was the Hokage they would have almost no war with anyone ever as Naruto always does whats right even if he loses out. Shikamaru would not have been able to talk Nagato out of ending the leaf village or turn Gaara's whole life around.

Naruto has the ability to be a Hokage like no other and bring about peace through love just as the sages youngest son believed.

Yes with Shikamaru Konoha doesnt have a very strong hokage but why is that needed if we got naruto and many others who fight under command of a great strategist.
