Yeah, it did.
Nonetheless, toonami practically defined my childhood *sniffs*
Getting off the school bus and running home just to catch Dragon Ball Z (will always have a special place in my heart), Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam, and Rurouni Kenshin (can't think of others right now) :T_T:
I miss the old days. Toonami was the best. Even when Toonami wasn't on, the Big Three cartoon stations had other awesome shows. How I miss Toonami, though. And their DBZ promos were badass.
Honestly. Who didn't have an orgasm after seeing that promo on Toonami when they were younger T_T

Man, do I miss this. However, I was find with its disappearances just not find with what Cartoon Network has become since then.
Yu Yu Hakusho really made me interested in Toonami. I can't say Dragon Ball Z since it came on another channel, which was the one I watched it on.

Damn right my childhood was defined by Toonami, and Dragon Ball Z! Everytime after school everyone knew not to get between me and the tv until after DBZ was over xd

Reminds me of the time I woke up everyday in the weekend at 5-6 am just to watch Hamtaro. xd I really miss watching it.

i dont remember that much about toonami, but i do remember being at my grandmas house looking at it when i was like 5. dbz is the only show i remember...

Toonami's leaving CN was one of many failures and mistakes that the network would come to make. I really only watch Adult Swim now. This is my entire childhood and this thread really brings back some bad ass memories of the good old days.
