Yamato. How strong is he?

Yamato is a Mokuton user and an intelligent ninja, he was the only survivor among the 60 children taken by Orochimaru in order to transplant Shodai's cells on them.
He admitted himself that Shodaime Hokage or Hashirama Senju was the only one who could fully-control Mokuton though we have seen Yamato many times using strong wood jutsus, so he isn't weak. My questions are:

• Is he better than Danzo at controlling Mokuton.

• Could he also fully-control Mokuton after a lot of practice (if he won't be dead of course xd)?

That happened because he was running out of chakra and he lost control of Shodai's cells, that why he had to sever his arm.
I think Yamato is better at controlling Mokuton!

danzo ain't nothing he just tranplanted hashiramas cells in his body to complete izanagi with sharingans so yamato is a beast he was able to control a 4-tail naruto,and he is at a very young age maybe with time passin he will be able to control it in a near level of shodaime but not at his level

Yeah you definitely right, actually I think Danzo implanted Shodai's cell only on his arm and not in the body as for Yamato, the Shodai's cell are spread across his body and I think Yamato knew more about Mokuton using and its jutsus.

I totally agree with you, Yamato maybe was the only one who didn't die - among the 60 children- because he was the "one" and he would be the best at using Mokuton (after Hashirama), to be the only one who doesn't die among 60 children? That means something.
