The Sannin. hands down.
Jiraiya found out that much about Pain in that short amount of time they fought ( even though it was too late lol ) The Sannin together could do much more

you should have add minato that would be a better argument. but itachi and nagato would still win. i mean nagato destroyed the whole village an whopped naruto then stopped the six tails of the fox cloak. and itachi killed the uchiha clan. put them two together they can pretty much beat anybody they want to.
hey come on let's see the facts, j-man has sage mode, orochimaro has all those jutsos and IWR and tsunade is raw power and they must have a good team work, being a team since childs so they wouldn't go so easily down....i go with the sannis

ok i will look at the facts. nagato destroyed the whole village an whopped naruto then stopped the six tails of the fox cloak. and itachi killed the uchiha clan. put them two together they can pretty much beat anybody they want to. shoot not to mention pain was a recreation of the so6p.

wow..the Akatsuki are unbelievably over-rated.
i would mention the Summons, but someone else would just throw Shinra Tensei in my face
no one can honeslty say that the Leaf wouldve been destroyed had Jiraiya and Orochimaru been there. it just wouldnt have happened.

Itachi vs Orochimaru : Itachi won easily.
Pein vs Jiraiya : Pein had troubles, but won from Jiraiya. Jiraiya did a very good job though.
Tsunade : has the best medic powers and great strenght.
The sannins teamwork would be great.
But the eyepowers will overcome them.

gedo mazo and susanoo are god combo
however,since nagato and itachi had low stamina,which the sannins are good at,this fight will end as draw or itanaga takes this with 6.5/10

Sannin win. All u have to do is switch up the matchups. Jiraiya over itachi because of sage mode and ma and pa, with them itachi's genjutsu won't work. Oro vs nagato would take a long time because is pretty much immortal. As soon as jiraiya beats itachi he can help oro beat nagato. Not to mention tsunade can heal them both and help out in either battle.
