[Discussion] Sasori remains the best in the Sand Village?

i agree with everything but you will never know for me of course its Gaara tht the best in the sand not just because he is my favorite but
1) he is the youngest Kazekage ever
2)Gaara has more experience since he is Kazekage(age does not matter as u can see Kakashi said naruto surpass the 4th)
3)and as the new manga we can see Iron,Crystal, or regular sand does not really matter since Gaara beat his father crystal sand so i guess even Iron has its weakness

And who would help him? Sasori defeated 3rd Kazekage when he was 15 years old, before he joined Akatsuki.

Gaara had to save the village and attack deidara...

But they were fighting above the desert, so Gaara could use great amounts of sand from the very start. Gaara and Deidara are around the same level.

Sasori on the other hand has Iran Sand to his disposition, which was said to be the most feared weapon in Suna history.

Being the youngest Kazekage doesn't mean massive experience. It means that the sand don't have that strong shinobi. Also he's been kage for about 1 year...

And Kakashi said Naruto surpassed the 4th in strength and maybe linear speed, but I still don't think naruto would win against Minato. Also Naruto is the main character of the series so he would win even the hardest of battles, just because he needs to.

with regards to your 3rd point : Gaara surpassed an Edo Tensei version of his father. Now here's what wrong with this whole picture : 1. plot-no-jutsu - Gaara has to defeat his father because the good guys will need to win in end. Ino-Shika-Cho apparently are strong enough to defeat the most fear in the cloud (KinGin) so it's safe to say that the plot takes over in this situation. 2. Edo Tensei shinobi (as I said before) are weaker. They might be able to fight as they would normally, but they lack to motivation to win that drives them forward in a fight (I would give as an example almost any fight in the manga so far...every win is due to determination and willpower shown throughout the fight) and no one in the edo tensei has that motivation to win.

You're not really arguing here.

First you question that Sasori won in a fair fight, which is something that has been stated in the manga, and then when countered, you turn around and say that Gaara would keep his 'perfect defense' on. A few problems with that : how can you know for sure that his defense would be enough for Iron Sand? What if the fight takes place in a random forest area instead of a dessert?

And how can you say that Gaara would "easily" beat Sasori? That's like saying : Hello, I am a fanboy, please ignore my argument

Sasori wasn't stronger than Itachi, Pain or Kisame but he was definitely one of the stronger Akatsuki member.

No reason to act all smart-ass without proper facts. Kankuro suprassed and edo tensei version of Sasori, which is weaker (any edo tensei seemed weaker than its actual shinobi. Also, Sasori didn't have any of the puppets that actually made him strong. He was basically human Sasori without any weapons...

Kankuro didn't surpass Sasori in anyway. Kankuro was shown to be stronger this time than their last encounter.

Edo Tensei summons are STRONGER than the actual ninjas when they were alive unless they're being used as mindless puppets. In Sasori's case, all his life, he wanted a perfect body and he got it with Edo Tensei; he said this in the manga. It didn't make a huge difference to Sasori but to other ninjas it does. Take Itachi for example. He will be able to use MS as much as he wants.

You need to need read manga carefully. Sasori clearly said that he defeated 3rd in the fight.

manga is just telling us the happenings in narutoworld....and all we, as naruto fans need to do is make some theories and assumption that is best suited....and perhaps comparin ur with mine...i think my assumptions are of some senses....:no_ignore:

As manga shows, he didnt beat Sasori with Iron Sand. He was defeated and became one of Sasoris puppets.

Sasori with 3rd Kazekage as his puppet and poisoned Iron Sand > 3rd Kazekage. Its very simple.
