Its in the part of the manga where the Raikage is trying to prevent Naruto and Bee from entering in the war. The Raikage states that Jiraiya said that Minato was the child of prophecy.

Keep in mind that the children of prophecy destiny was a dynamic process that changed with circumstance, and thus Jiraiya's judgment. Initially, it was a Namikaze. Really, what made Jiraiya believe in Nagato was his eyes and not his clan lineage, and Naruto because of his ninja way. Further, it was Jiraya's decision, not theirs', that was the pivotal one in deciding how things went to either a child a destruction or peace.
One of the things that saved Naruto was Minato's appearance, the Namikaze destined child when he almost lost control. That's just one example. Remember, Minato designed a plan for Naruto that fateful night and put all his faith in Naruto. Not just because he was half from Kushina, but because he was half from Minato as well.
My main point is, there were plenty of deciding people and factors outside of being Uzumaki that determined the children of destiny's stage for decisions than just their clan. Is their clan special? Yes. Kushina has explained why. Is there more? Possibly and wouldn't be too surprising either way, but it's
speculation, which is fine as long as we treat it as such.

Just say it out load The SO6P was an Uzumaki, The Uzumaki are the total package. Stop the ***** footing arrow n the issue dare to stake a stand.
Not seriously
The Sage of 6 Paths was an Uzumaki named, "Uzumaki Speculation." I know this because there is no direct proof in the manga to prove my statement rather than theorize it.
Seriously. That's a theory until proven, if it gets proven fine, I don't really care as he's dead, and I have nothing invested in him being from any clan in particular if he was even from one at all. Either way, this is really not germane to the discussion (thus there was no circling this theory here), and I think it's kind of rude to try to impose your ideas on others.
Rather, you should make an argument that's logically sound with whatever form of proof you can and allow the reader to reach their own conclusion rather than demand one you favor.
