As you prepare your trident I bring the scythe off my shoulders and hold it across my front with my left hand being on the upper portion and my right being on the middke portion. I stand with my left foot forward and as you come to swing I briefly swing Downwards (at your incoming trident) to block by also stepping in with my right foot. I swing with the blade facing downwards and I catch your trident on my large and long blade (your large triple spearhead means it would get caught and thus you wouldnt be able to pull away). Thus when you try to pull away and flip the trident your briefly stopped, but not for long as I turn the blade to keep it flat across your trident pole. As you pull I step in with my left foot and with both hands I swing the scythe horizontally (from left to right) as I turn my whole upper body thus giving it much more power and speed. Because of the large and long blade and because your trident is stuck it takes a very very short time to cut right through your chest, causing you to collapse to the floor in two pieces.
Remember this is all in one fluid motion:
-I block your feint swing but catch your trident on my blade.
-Using that moment of confusion I turn the blade and swing horizontally cutting you in two.
*As you catch my trident on your scythe blade, I'm forced to immediately pull backwards on my trident as I step backwards, adding more strength to my pull, so that I free my blade, or in worst case, pull your own scythe so that you can't slice me easily, instead of going in with the strike with the end of the staff.
I also make sure to actually rotate the trident, locking your blade onto my own so that as you turn your scythe blade, they lock, due to the torque.
Once I am able to step backwards, then I again yank backwards on the trident, ensuring the our weapons unlock.
From their, I again take the basic stance I took earlier, ready to try this...again. *
(Truth be told, not sure if that worked. @_@ :ghehe
