As I said, with Minatos reflexes he still should be able to react to that with his body, yet he couldnt, he had to use FTG.

Look at Minatos expression. He was shocked by Raikage speed, and he knew about it beforehand. That definetly wasnt reaction of man with comparable speed, let alone faster.

Minato was fastest with FTG, but in terms of raw speed he was obviously far behind Raikage. You must realise that while Minato was talented as hell, body-wise he was still normal human, its just not technically possible for him to compete with freaks like A or KM Naruto in terms of physical abilities. He wasnt a god. He couldnt become any faster, so he invented FTG.

You guys are talking about the Minato and A fight, but A didn't use raw speed either, someone said before that A's armour counts because its still on foot but I don't think that's fair, so as far as raw speed I'm going to say Minato is faster, when A is using the armour A is faster, when they both use their jutsus minato is faster of course lol

lightning armors Classification is Ninjutsu/chakra flow on naruto wiki so technically its a jutsu like FTG so it isent his raw speed.

It shows enough to easily conclude that Minato was inferior to A in terms of body speed. As I said, no matter how talented Minato was body-wise he was still normal human. He cant compete with freaks like A or KM Naruto in terms of physical abilities.

Well, if there was a race between the two and there was condition about not using jutsus (Raiton armor, FTG) Minato would most probably outrun Raikage (Then again Shunshin is also a technique. Hmm...). But if condition was about just running on feet (means A could use Raiton armor) then Minato wouldnt stand a chance.

First of all I would like to know where people in this thread are getting the facts to support their statements like "Itachi was as fast as Minato"? Also the term "raw speed" is thrown around a lot on these threads but in a fight who cares about raw speed? Isn't the point of a fight to use all your techniques to be the winner? I am going to go with what the manga says and A clearly states himself that Minato was faster than him. He doesn't say he was only faster because of FTG or his raw speed was nothing compared to mine. He says himself in the manga Minato was faster than himself. The way I see it any other argument is a moot point and anyone who tries to dispute this fact is just twisting events around in the manga to support their own theories of how they want the characters to be. I apologize if this comes off as angry but I just had to post my opinion because these threads have not stopped.

I think Minato using his raw speed is faster than A. Yeah A almost hit Minato if he didn't used FTG but A is attacking using his lightning armor (which isn't also his raw speed). Minato was able to rescue baby Naruto in Madara's hands. That's only the proof we can get.

Thats the whole idea of this thread, to compare Minatos speed on feet to others, not inlcuding his FTG. Yeah, with FTG he is the fastest, becuase its s/t technique and its instant, while no matter how ridiculously fast you are its still takes you some time to get to some place. May it be 0.01 of second, but you still wont be as fast as FTG. But in terms of Shunshin alone Minato cant compete with A or KM Naruto.

minato was the fastest person alive who cares if he use's FTG its a jutsu deal with it stop making stupid threads like "NOT counting FTG"
simpel fact is he was the fastest A admited it


Taking FTG away from minato is like taking Lightning armor away from A
Or taking the tailed beasts inside naruto & B
or taking the sharingan away from sasuke/itachi
