Killing your clan and then trying to get your brother to kill you so he can return a hero is stupid! He should have knew it would not work that way!!!

Actually know he had to kill his clan or the elders would have, he killed them so he could save sasuke and used the hatred for his brother to get stronger


Or, he could have died protecting his clan, don't forget Madara was present then too!!!

No because Itachi hated Madara he also loved the village as much as his clan.
So before you judge a character read the manga and watch the anime it shows itachi story.:flaw:

Because Madara was there aswell, he couldn't do that,
He wanted him to save Konoha and to return as a Hero but Sasuke got ****ed up big time and now it's all messed up

1) Betraying your clan so the village that has treated them as second class citizens (Senju were always #1) so Konoha would be safe from outsiders?

2) Telling your little brother to feed off hatred just so he could kill you and return to Konoha a hero (He underestimated Madara, Itachi only told 1/2 the truth!)?

3) Postponing a Shinobi War, just because you were too weak-minded to die with your clan?

Itachi Uchiha might be beloved and have a large fanbase, but everything Sasuke has gone through, Itachi has created for his own personal gain!

I think that there will be a small refugee clan of the Uchiha's that Itachi saved hidden somewhere and will reveal themselves sometime after the war They a country to settle in and make their own village and Sauske becomes the clan's kage. They negoiate a treaty with the hidden leaf but still wants to take the leaf but.(hopefully) That would make for an interesting arc.

Itachi killed his clan by order of the village elders and also as a pacifist he chose the lesser of two evils, kill his clan to prevent civil war and outside war for the village he loves more then his clan that was founded on the basis of hate and vengance. Also Madara is to blame for Sasuke's descent into darkness, not Itachi. Itachi only wanted his brother to get stronger to restore the reputation of his clan and also get strong enough so eventually he could help Konoha and as a result help take down Madara, however he took precausions with Naruto as Itachi feared Madara's hand after he was dead to take Sasuke away from the light. Sasuke's responsible for hid darkness for the simple fact that he's too weak to see that he's being manipulated. I sware I can't see him and Itachi being brothers. Itachi's powerful and Sasuke's weak (in the sense that he's a tool). Itachi's actions were all to save his village, his brother, to take down the mastermind of deception Madara, and restore peace.

If he had told Sasuke the truth there was no reasoning for their fight and then how was Itachi going to make him powerful coz he was dying already and he somehow has to make him worthy against madara but even at that last moment he resolved his mistake by giving naruto some powers to stop sasuke later coz he knew he is going to be bad and he just doesn't overestimated madara he tried his best to put madara out of his plan but alas he got some unlike him relative..
