Is naruto legendary yet?

well the news about pain a rinnengan user and leader dying would have been big news, it would be like killing saddam hussein when in a war, of course if the leader of the enemy died whoever did it would be worshipped, like shodaime killing madara was legendary.
the speed doesnt really matter, seeing as sasuke became notorious so quickly after the things he did. naruto even dodged raikage and stronger than bee, and the konoha viillagers know about him so technically the world should.

it is big news but what im saying is thw 4th shinbi war the joint forces the 5 kage summit is alot bigger news tha naruto defeating pain plus nagato's name was not known even pains name was not knwon much by the people all they knew was that there was an organisation and there was a leader

plus when the kages got back to the village what happened...
they told everyone about the news that happened then made them prepare for war now im pretty sure they wouldnt be worrying about some guy defeated some other dude in a fight coz thts bassically all they to them is some guy

and but they new they were powerful but all of a sudden there kage says were going to war to fight some immortal guy that has lived since the beggining of the ver 1st kages now that to me is bigger news and i would be more focused and more worried about that than naruto not to mention madara has 7 bijuu with him

Exactly!!! Naruto can avoid Raikage as he wants but it doesn't mean that he can beat him....and Naruto himself said that if I had another of that million pound punch. I m finished....

if hes faster he can probably do a minato and cut raikage in half, and seeing as a chidori cut through raikages armour a little, i think a raikage would do the same on lightning armour level 2, in raikages strongest form i still think a rasenshuriken could pierce it, seeing that i guess a tailed beast bomb would obliterate that overrated character.

Nah, Naruto hasn't done anything, he isn't known by 2 villages as their savior, there is no bridge named after him, and he isn't acknowledged by 3 of the 5 kage. I guess he hasn't really accomplished that much considering his age now did he?
Why isn't he that know... exactly because of that short time. Look at his age and the other "legends" how old were they? older than Naruto anyway. Most legends became legends during a war, the same will be with Naruto except that he will now be know by absolutely EVERYONE.

lol kakashi has fought numerous battles all around the shinobi world since he was younger than naruto not to mention that he has already fought a shinobi world war and lived..so yeah!of course they know who he is!

as for naruto..that is his journey..to be acknowledged by everyone, first his teacher..then his friends..then the whole village.. next the world.. so one day he can preach about true peace through understanding one another!

but that's just my opinion

thank you besides naruto beat kakuza after he had fought kakashi he only had two hearts left also pein wasted a lot of chakra on the village then fought hinata and the fox then he had to fight bnaruto again so it wasnt a fair fight.

i know it wasnt a fair fight, but pain even acknowledged that naruto was the strongest opponent he ever faced, and seeing as naruos go a massive power boost because of kyuubi he is probably equal to madara kabuto and sasuke.

probably stronger because of his will of fire.

he says if he takes one of those punches CLEAN. This meaning that as long as he blocks them he is ok. Otherwise the force in that punch would have broken his bones, which it didn't, so it is clear that he can block them for a while... if Raikage manages to hit him xd

i dont think he got too much of a boost cause fist yondaime split the chakra in half and he didnt take all of the nine tails chakra. i say he has around 15-30 percent of the nine tails chakra. besides i think naruto has surpassed naruto when it comes to power but kakashi definetly win in terms of brains, variety of jutsu, experience,and he was once an anbu so he probably has good assassination skills too. so if i had a choice to pick naruto or kakashi as a ninja partner i would pick naruto.

just paying attention to the details.. jiraya's speech about true peace is the mission naruto has and will carry out! he turned gaara before hearing this speech but nevertheless through understanding.. same goes with pain! after seeing his village destroyed and his fellow shinobi killed he still seeked understanding and true peace! that is how naruto will change the shinobi world and "end the curse"

well hes definately more powerful, since kakashi could only last about 22 seconds against a tired sasuke, whereas i think naruto would smash sasuke without even killing him. also remember when kakashi was like 28 years old, he couldnt even beat zabuza, whereas naruto at 16 would beat 300 zabuzas minimum at the same time.

naruto lasted long against pain the strongest ninja in he world, and he could even beat raikage whereas even now i dont think kakashi could do that, also narutos rasenshuriken would pwn kakashi, the first rasenshurken would be aken by kamui bu then the second rasenshurken would hit home since kakashi would be tired.

remember kakashis the guy that learnt from the fourth hokage yet go roflstomped by zabuza, itachi, pain, and got chased down that wall by a tired sasuke. kakashi is a fail student of yondaime.

No doubt by that Naruto has surpassed Kakashi, but we are talking achievements here. Naruto loses purely because he is younger.

Naruto though had just defeated pain and basically straight away the 5 kage summit, and therefore resulting in a joining forces and having a 4th shinobi war

the news about naruto beating pain was small compared to the war so people would of spread the news and worried about more of the joint forces than naruto

plus naruto hasnt gone up against any ninja from any other of the 4 major countries let alone meet any of them so them so its a bit hard to fear someone that they havnt met, also when there on their side

I second that. And you must take into consideration that Naruto is only seen as the 9-tails host at the time in the midst of war. but his name is spread about through Konoha since after the Pain Invasion. He's doing well, but he's not Legendary

He's legendary in the Leaf and Sand villages, but as others have stated that's it. He's never defeated a major character in any other major village. He helped with a ton of S Class criminals starting with Zabuza and then dueling with Akatsuki.
