So are you saying its all in the mind? That as long as you feel responsibility for the death you can get ms.as far as kakashi is concered he did kill obito who was his best friend (its obvious he blames himself for obitos death)
nah your eye knows who is your best friend and also notice if you kill him. it has brain of its own O.OSo are you saying its all in the mind? That as long as you feel responsibility for the death you can get ms.
tht is wat i was thinkin lolas far as kakashi is concered he did kill obito who was his best friend (its obvious he blames himself for obitos death)
yea i think its more of a mindset dont think you physically change just because you kill a friendSo are you saying its all in the mind? That as long as you feel responsibility for the death you can get ms.
But it wouldn't cause him to gain MS this many years later, and Obito wasn't his best friendas far as kakashi is concered he did kill obito who was his best friend (its obvious he blames himself for obitos death)
agreeNo, that's all wrong. Itachi was convinced that to get the Mangekyou, you had to kill your best friend, only because he obtained it when he did. Kakashi one, has no friends to kill. All of them were KIA. You're supposed to gain the Mangekyou as soon as you kill them in that theory; why would Kakashi gain it all those years later?
Also, Sasuke did not kill his best friend. That was supposed to be Naruto, and he didn't kill him. Sasuke didn't gain the eyes right after he "killed" Naruto (Since he didn't kill him in the first place).
From what I can tell from the series, killing is not a requirement. That is just what Itachi was led to believe since he gained it from killing Shisui. So from what I can draw from the series, the requirement is different for each person.
EDIT: Also, Itachi was not his best friend. At least, until the time he killed him. You can't kill someone you hate and despise and then look back on it and say, "Oh my God. Why did I do that?", and just gain MS.
Didn't Sasuke only get his cause Itachi transferred his powers to him when he poked him in the head? No, that's all wrong. Pretty much.I think it's like when you kill someone close to you you gain the MS, and that happens because you have to choke back your emotions and kill them. Once it's done and you realise what you did and the guilt sets in and that probably makes your body react to your mental state and then you get the MS. In Sasuke's case the guilt set in after he found out the truth about Itachi, (Although there was no choking back of emotions) and if that truth was enough to make me cry my F***ing eyes out, I'm pretty sure that was what made Sasuke get his MS and not the fact that he physically killed Itachi. In Kakashi's case I only remember him saying that he was developing that technique
