Mephisto is shrouded in mystery. He has the inate ability to act as if he knows more than what he is letting on. Careful and meticulous, he is like a chess player, always ahead of the game although He is prone to excentric moments nestled inbetween serious moments, making light of a heavy mood.

Background Info.
History:
Born in kirigakure, Mephisto was born into a family of poor background and lived in a dangerous part of the village neighbourhood. Throughout his childhood and not knowing why, Mephisto never really had any friends and only relied on the company of his family. Soon came the third ninja war, the world became heated in battles and wars. Kirigakure was no exception. Tragically, due to the fights, Mephisto’s parents fell victim and died in the process of serving their country. This lead Mephisto into turmoil and unlocking something within him, something he never knew before; the feeling of true hate. Now alone in the world, Mephisto began to grow more colder and dark, this lead to him unleash his true nature and in turn manifested itself into Meiton - Dark Release, a kekkei genkai from his family bloodline. A few years went by, Mephisto tried to gain control over his newly acquired strength but only to be shunned by the villagers, as his power seemed to be ‘demonic’ and ‘evil’. Knowing Kirigakure would not accept him anymore; he left the village in pursuit of a new home.
While traveling with the crew, he began to grow bonds with them and it suppressed his more darker side until the point where he was very friendly and became the person his family intended to be, a more happy-go-lucky and carefree person. Though whether or not this side of him is his true nature was confusing to him, was he good or evil? That’s the question he usually asked himself.
The time came where all the members of the Shinsengumi departed to separate roads. Although it wasn’t the best of times, Mephisto knew it had to be done and one day, they would all meet up once more and share their stories. Being a friendlier person now, Mephisto began to find it easier to make new friends and fewer enemies.
While on his journeys, he spent some time in Amegakure were he learned rain, Mephisto stumbled across two shinobi with kumogakure headbands on their foreheads, not making much of it, the two shinobi passed him by but a few seconds later, four other shinobi began to follow them. Something was fishy. He began to tail the four shinobi that were following the two kumogakure ninja’s and it turned out it was an ambush. The two Kumo nin’s were soon surrounded by more ninja’s and were trapped with the only way out was to fight. A battle ensued naturally but they were on the losing end. Mephisto, looking on, knew he could help them but was it the right thing to do? He pondered for a while but soon enough stepped in. Three on four, the odds were stacked against them but ultimately, they won the battle. The two kumo nin’s turned out to be Kirabi and Mugiwara – the Raikage. As a reward, Mugiwara insisted Mephisto came back to kumogakure and be one of his right hand men, to which Mephisto gladly accepted, not knowing what he let himself in for...
Being Mugiwara’s right-hand man, Mephisto was sent on missions to kill, assassinate and torture people. It soon became apparent that Mugiwara was a tyrant O_O One after another, the body count raised, though secretly, Mephisto enjoyed it. Ever so slowly, his evil side of him resurfaced and the two ninja wars that followed Mephisto’s arrival only accelerated his transformation into darkness; however, being wise to what is happening, Mephisto remained in control of his psychotic ways until it completed took over (Which is mainly in the heat of a battle). Casually, he is very easygoing and carefree until the moment of breaking point is when all hell breaks loose.
He traveled far and wide, meeting new people, some who were nice and some who were not. Inevitably, he encountered many rouge ninja’s and had to fend for himself. On these journey’s, he met a man named Goro Kaguya, along with his ‘crew’ – Shinsengumi. Goro, out of curiousity, challenged Mephisto to a fight that Goro easily won due to his vast years of experience compared to Mephisto, but it was only to test his prowess. Goro saw potential in Mephisto and allowed him to join the Shinsengumi and there he began to make friends, such as Scary yamato, Riku, Kaze and a few others.

While under the command of Mugiwara, he was ordered to kill a Mist seven swordsman, Mugen, to which the mission was an accomplishment and rather selfishly, Mephisto stole the sword from Mugen’s corpse and became the wielder of Haniyasu-Hime, the earth goddess.
For his own amusement, Mugiwara created a sound tournament and watched people kill each other off until only one remained. Luckily that one was Mephisto and was taught sound~
Because Mephisto is so awesome, he can do any jutsu without any seals.
