Discussion: Would you rather have skill or power?

I have to say and be honest. That Sasuke might qualify as both skill and power fighter. As of now of course.
I would have to say for me, Skill fighter. Cause this way, I can confuse and keep the enemy from guessing my movements.

Take Sasuke out of skilled fighters right this instant!!
Sasuke has little to no real skill in fights, he just spams techniques given to him by others. In fact if you look at it every fight he has had since shippuden started he has been saved by someone else or someone else's abilities.
Sasuke's spammed jutsu-
Curse mark (in the past)
MS (especially Susanoo)
EMS (soon enough)
Sasuke's fights he would have lost -
Let's go in order
Oro was sick- Sasuke admitted he would have lost
Itachi - Itachi beat him and still let him win
Deidara - Oro's summoning helped him even though Sasuke shouldn't have been able to summon Manda
Bee - Sasuke got his @$$ dominated by Bee and had to drink Karin's blood like a vampire to heal
Raikage - Sasuke was going to die, maybe A was as well but Sasuke definitely was going down
Mizukage- Zetsu saved him and refilled his chakra while taking the Mizukage's
Tsuchikage- Madara saved Sasuke from being turned to dust
Danzo - Sasuke was saved by Madara and Karin telling him what to do and what Danzo was doing and when.
Sakura- had a chance to stab Sasuke in the back but didn't and stopped because she is weak and stupid.
Naruto - Madara saved him from being wrecked by Naruto after Naruto restrained kakashi and was about to dominate Sasuke.
Back to the thread though I would be a skill fighter if I had a choice. Precision beats power any day.
hmm sasuke vs mizu, he was out of chakra already i wouldnt count that, and vs naruto dont forget he was poisoned he would drop to the ground if they fought on. (and i dont like sasuke much)
but i would say naruto is also about skill, he is pretty clever in fight (vs pain with those shurikens transformations etc) even tho he dont have plenty of different techs
when looking those in "skill" i would say kakashi got plenty, he doesnt have much chakra but hes fighting pretty well
and me, i like skilled fighters more too

Naruto was in sage mode plus he didn't drop to the ground so I don't think that small amount of poison was going to hurt him.
I'll give you the Sasuke vs. Mizukage one even though he was an idiot for challenging her and really he didn't do anything, Zetsu actually fought that battle for him so if you want we can just discount it altogether. My point is that he hasn't won a single real fight so far unless you count beating Jugo and Suigetsu to make them join his team.

By having skills, you have power in my opinion. So skills. Skilled fighters tend to be more interesting. They're good at leading people on.

Not as often though nor by other people. Usually when Naruto gets into trouble he saves the day by going into different tailed modes. He saved the day against Kakuzu, he went nine-tails to come back against Pain, since shippuden it has been more Naruto saving other people.
And my point was that every single fight that Sasuke has been in should not have ended the way it did except for some outside influence literally handing Sasuke the battle.

As a martial arts fighter myself, I know all too well how power and skill affect a fight. One thing I have noticed is that you can have all the skill in the world, but if you don't have any power to base it upon, your attacks will be useless. I once fought this one man, incredably strong. But he couldn't kick above his waist. All's he could do was throw punches. Yet, he pummbled everyone he fought because he had so much power. Do not be so quick to rule out power.

I think there is a difference between being a skill/precision fighter and being a strategist also though.
My reasoning behind choosing a skill/precision fighter is because it looks so much more cool when those people fight then when someone like raikage just smashes through a wall or desk. Like the way Neji or Minato do their taijutsu, it's so fluid and awesome! Also Sasuke before shippuden, like when he fought Naruto on the roof, his movements were clean and precise. Fighting wise it would be better to have both I guess like Minato but if I had to choose looking cool in a fight comes first to me.
Like I always say, if you're going to do something do it with style.
