Well,they are both very fast ,but i think Minato is faster than A .It is mentioned that even without FTG Minato's speed and reflexes were extraordinary. Even A himself told so. I think he said that now that the 4th is dead he (A) is the fastest shinobi...

but it doesn't say that every EMS grants the same abilities. Madara's abilities could be completely different. As for the Rinnengan, I think your right.

a RAW Battle with A vs The 4th A would destroy the fourth the fouth himself is nothing without his FTG or His rasengan. where as A himself would destroy minato with his RAW strength, do not forget That, Liger bomb, Lariat and A's other moves can be done RAW beacuse its taijutsu, If it was a match with no ninjutsu minato would Die haha, but if it is including ninjutsu Minato would just edge A with his FTG Rasengan.
Correction: They are Nintaijutsu, means they're simple wrestling moves which gained massive strength due lightning armor. And avoid the laughing please you sound like an idiot hater who gives baseless arguments O_O

Why do people keep saying that "anyone can master FTG" Its a technique that combines the most advanced sealing that techniques in the entire Naru-verse, which have only been used by a specific clan, who have all except for one(that we know of) have been wiped out, with Space-Time Ninjutsu, which last time i checked can only be used by Minato, Tobi, Tobirama, and Kakashi, and out of them only Minato knows the advanced sealing techniques.
Therefore Minato is literally the only person that can use Flying Thunder God so no point in arguing who is faster because minato is going to use FTG in a fight, and he is going to win. Just ask Madara, and while your at it, ask the entire Grass village army he beat by himself, and ask all the village leaders who gave strict instructions that if you see him on the battlefield run away.
And finally, Raikages Lighting armor makes him AS fast as minato without FTG so its a tie. Everyone loses.

Not a fan boy, I stated facts from the manga to support the idea that he is the Strongest Shinobi outside of the sage of six paths. If i was a fanboy I wouldnt make any arguements i would just attack other people to distract them from the fact that Im not making a valid point, However everything i said is straight from the manga. Fact
If you need further evidence, In the kakashi Gaiden, when kakashi first reveals chidori, it is said his speed is drastically increased, even the shinobi who its used against is amazed by his speed, and when kakashi is roughly 7 feet away from him, Minato uses his raw speed to run across the forest make a sharp turn grab kakashi plant a FTG seal on the enemy and jump back to safety in the about half second time it wouldve taken for kakashi to rush the next 7 feet.

What is speeed? Simply - who can get there first. In that regards, we'll give it to Minato.
However, if you talk of raw speed, then I think you should remove everything called chakra, which includes FTG and lightning armour. Do this and we don't know who has the highest speed (and we'll never know unless Kishi decides otherwise).

No, Im talking about Minato without FTG, The reason that he is called the yellow flash is that his natural movements are so fast all you can see is a blur of his yellow hair, While the use of FTG is instantaneous therefore he leaves no blur, I acknowledge that Raikage with his armor is AS FAST AS MINATO, But IMO he is not faster.

A's armor is an extension of his chakra.
Minato's FTG is an accessory: Knife.
The reason behind Minato's nickname has been rumored to originate from FTG.

So you agree that Minato and A are equally as fast when Minato does not use FTG?
Minato's reflexes far exceed A's though, in terms of actual running I'd say they were pretty even but now there has been proof in the manga that his reactions and reflexes are much faster.
With FTG Minato wins in terms of speed.
