[Discussion] A's raw speed & Minato's raw speed

In the Kakashi Gaiden Rin calls the FTG "sensei's body flicker technique" and says its "so fast." So maybe, while a seal, the FTG is in fact a body flicker, just a highly developed one...

Rin believed it to be a body flicker because she didn't know the secret of the FTG tech since she didn't see minato implant the seal on the rock-nin's foot. A body flicker would require very quick, actual movement from one place to another

There is so many different angles you can look at this from. When we say faster do we mean runnig or reflexes? If we're talking running then I'd say theres a good chance A is faster only because Minato doesn't have any abilities that increase speed (or so I would assume since there has been no record of him having any). Minato's technique allows him to summon himself to a kunai that has his scroll on it wherever the kunai may be. If we're talking reflexes I would say Minato has the upperhand becuase A was litterally centimeters from Minato's face before Minato ended up behind him, that's reflex speed, and Bee had to save A becuase his reaction time was to slow to stop Minato's attack.

And for those would would count the fourths FTG as a ability to increase speed, it doesnt increase his speed, it teleports him.

I have been telling everyone this before that A is faster than Minato w/o FTG, but nobody believes me.

Lighting Armor - HIS OWN CHAKRA.
FTG - Teleporting because of summoning seals.

I would say Minato simply because the Raikage saidd he was faster. When he said that I assumed he WAS talking about raw speed.

Frankly, it doesn't matter. FTG is faster than the Raikage. Only teleportation keeps up with teleportation. U_U

I think the argument is movement. A is faster at movement physically moving from one place to another. 4th has a way around it he just skips all the movement and just be at the next place. Your right you can't beat that but still for movement A is faster.

R'Kage is actually one of my least favourite characters, but I give credit where it's due and his raw speed is the fastest in the manga, while moving. Minato on the other hand is arguably the fastest without moving (Flying Thunder God). Both of these Shinobi's reflexes are similar, but speed-wise while moving it's R'Kage, but without moving it's H'Kage.

i think i read the first page when the thread was knew and just didn't post lol but yeah other then FTG i don't think minato's body flicker is faster then A's lightning armor body flicker, but without lightning armor not sure but A did say after minato died he was the fastest in the world so maybe he was still faster without it.

i think hes just assuming since madara is supposed to have EMS and rinnegan he should have all the powers itachi/sasuke and nagato have ever used +what hes used himself, hes said he can use human path (when they were going to probe yamato for infomation) so he can use atleast some of nagato's paths.

If you don't have great reflexes using FTG would be pointless. When A strike minato if he didn't have great reflexes he couldn't teleported himself to a safe place...
