I was thinking that after this chapter it might be confirmed that Minato has wind-nature chakra. After he dodged the Raikage, he comes, back, hits him, then Bee blocks, but Minato slices through the tentacle.

And at the bottom you can see its nearly severed.

Also, if he was able to hit the Raikage through the latter's lightning armor, that would perhaps demonstrate how wind > lightning.

If you look in the top right frame you can barely see the outline of a kunai knife so I think that is what cut Bee's tentacle off. But either way he could very well have a wind natured chakra. Maybe this is something that will be revealed one day.

In Naruto Lightning is known to be the best element used for piercing and making your weapons sharper
wind can beat lightning
Minato used wind-chakra infused kunai to get through the raiton armour

0_oMinato really is surprising he is now 10x cooler with wind-nature chakra

Here is reasoning for why I think Minato's affinity is wind.
I posted this on another thread.

Well this is my theory but I'm pretty sure about this stuff, but once again it is all just educated reasoning.

Here goes, well we know that most of the time elemental stuff is genetic, hence the bloodlines having the same KG and stuff like Haku and his mom and the Uchiha having fire, and by using the first's DNA people can use his wood jutsu. So now that we have got the genetic part cleared up we also know that usually elemental affinities are thematic, which means that they go along with their villages theme.
Examples:
Hidden clouds- Lightning and some water users.
Hidden mist - water, Mizukage does mist KG's
Hidden Rock- earth element users,
Hidden sand - we only have like two elemental users we have seen so far, Temari and that guy that killed Hayate and they were both wind users. (Gaara's sand isn't an elemental technique)
Hidden Leaf - the only village that is really different but almost all of the people are able to use fire jutsu except for Naruto. examples- Uchiha, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Hiruzen

The genetics thing and the fact that village themes play into elemental affinities led me to this reasoning. Obviously Naruto is wind-natured and had to get it from one of his parents, well Kushina was from the Land of whirlpools which if we follow the theme then she would have had a water affinity which leaves Minato to have the wind affinity.

So there you go, that is my reasoning. For all of you who are going to argue for the sake of arguing don't just point out the fact that this hasn't been explicitly stated that Kushina uses water and Minato uses wind, try and be intelligent and find fault with my reasoning and logic instead.

well its obviously wind or lightning only coz of what kakashi said

tht he was going to add his charkra nature into the rasengan but couldnt

im assuming those two coz i dont think you can add earth, water, fire to the rasengan

And that reasoning just failed. Kasashi can't use Fire. He has Lighting, Water and Earth.
Yamato and First Hokage have Earth, Water (Wood).

On thread.
But i would not find it strange that Minato has wind style.
Point out where my reasoning is flawed? You just said one character's affinities randomly. You had no input to offer so you posted some garbage. Honestly I barely even understood it, why do you point out that both Yamato and Hashirama have wood jutsu? I know they do, it's because Oro did experiments on Yamato and gave him the first's DNA. Please try and find flaws with my logic and reasoning, don't just post some nonsense like, "No".
