Zetsu?!

Can ne1 tell me what the hell is Zetsu??? I understand he's some kind of plant/human hybrid but really what is he??? I've read on of his playing cards from the Naruto TCG and it said he was from Kohona but how can this be? Didnt the 1st Hokage and Madara create the hidden leaf??? Could there have been a whole clan of Zetsu??? If so the ninja world would be f**ked, I mean come on this guy can merge with the ground and trees, create perfect copies of people and thier charka, and be two places at once. I dnt even think its been stated if he has a KG or if thats just how he looks...
I asking if any1 has nething else to add?

Lol I was half kidding, it's not known if Madara created him, it's just what a lot of people think.

Only thing we know about Zetsu is that he's known Madara for a very long time and is trusted by him more than anyone else.

You're wrong Zetsu his the son Madara had after mixing his own "body" with senju DNA.

While Madara turn itself to have body looking like Zetsu white body or Danzo right arm because of the mixing of the DNA

actually concidering that every know MS powers are named with shintoist god, it's more likely that Zetsu is the personnification the "unamed" bug-like god ans therefore an MS or EMS power
