Rōshi was shown wearing a large headpiece consisting of a three pointed crown-like ridge, bearing both his Iwagakure forehead protector and ring, and a prominent black piece of armour running across his cheeks and the bridge of his nose.
Despite his advanced age, his hair was solid red. His hair and beard style were exactly the same as that of the Four-Tails inside him. He dressed himself in a long-sleeved purple shirt and pants, and brown armour. He also had a bag tied on his waist, most likely containing ninja tools.
Personality:
Not much is known of roshi, but was stated by kisame that he is not someone you want to fool around with.

History:
Rōshi became the jinchūriki of the Four-Tails at a very young age. He left his home town of Iwagakure at some point to better understand and control the power of the beast within him. He traveled various places in search for power and control over his beast, he looked up and down for many years and is still roaming the world freely.

The Yonbi no Saru is a four-tailed Giant Monkey, with a fierce, aggressive and territorial outlook.
Naturally Granted Powers: Roushi gains the ability to use the Lava element.
Incomplete Form: When the incomplete form is activated, Roushi is covered in a bright crimson chakra shroud with four tails waving behind him.
The chakra shroud burns an opponent who touches it, much like fire. It is hotter than the Nibi's chakra shroud.
He gains a +10 attack boost to the Lava element, and a +5 attack boost to the Earth and Fire elements.
Complete Form: Roushi screams, and red chakra bursts out of him and covers him entirely in the replica of the Yonbi.
The ground for about two metres around the Yonbi turns into lava. Coming near the Yonbi is hard for any ninja since the temperatures are well over 60 degrees Celsius.
Once a battle, the Yonbi can let out a loud screech, releasing a shockwave of chakra in one straight line that flattens anyone in front of it.
It can use only Lava, Earth or Fire Elements, but learns a +25 attack boost to the Lava element and + 15 attack boost to the Fire and Earth element.
Lava release: Due to his prowess at the element, roshi has gained the ability to use less handseals and perform techniques with more speed.
Abilities:
By borrowing the Four-Tails' power, Rōshi was able to use its Lava Release ninjutsu, a combination of fire and earth-based chakra, to create a torrent of lava that can melt almost anything. In the anime, Madara referred to him as "Rōshi of the Lava Release" (熔遁の老紫, Yōton no Rōshi),[1] further indicating his prowess with it. Kisame, a powerful Akatsuki member himself, stated that he was not one to play around with as he was tough, a testament to his skills. He was also seen using a curved kunai.Picture
