When did Sarutobi become Hokage?

I've been really curious about this for a while now, when did the 3rd become hokage?

Here are the facts

1. Episode 75ish (during part 1, orochimaru invasion) Sarutobi is dying and he sees a memory of the Shodaime and Nidaime telling him that tomorrow he will be hokage but he looks like he's only 10, 13 max.

2. But then in the manga chapter 481 danzo has a flashback about sarutobi and others, at the end of which Nidaime tells Sarutobi he will be hokage because Nidaime is about to sacrifice himself to save the kids but Sarutobi is wayy older this time, he's all armored out, its totally different,

is this just a small hole in the story, or what?

Nah Ive pointed this out its just not very clear, and the Danzo falshback was animated in the last eps or two.

the manga is the correct version.....
Sarutobi was appointed hokage because the 2nd was about to sacrifice himself

That scene of very young sarutobi with 1st and 2nds was also in manga wasnt it ?

well i did the timeline, and he was 24 when he started training the sannin, and that was much later than when he was appointed hokage... (that means he was most likely much younger than minato)
