Um how about y'all hope off dude nuts! He asked a simple question, everyone has their own view/knowledge of what/who a villain is, just answer the damn question with your own list and explain why.

Death Note is the best anime for me atleast.He should. Death Note is one of the best anime's ever. Makes you think while also giving you an addiction to candy.
And I love those types of villains. Nagato's awesome, just isn't my all time favorite. I love Light though, but when he snaps, he snaps!

Villains in general rule. In real life, not so much, but in stories, they really are deep, depending on what you read and like.
Forgot to mention some DBZ villains, but I really don't love them. Vegeta, as a villain, was awesome. Frieza's cool too.
I'm a fan of Nagato and a Light-hater (since he killed my all-time fav. L). I know what you means but they aren't what I'd list as villains but more as anti-hero.
In this category, guys like Light, Pein, Snape, Itachi, Sasuke, Danzo, Hitler, Vegeta, Brutus (Julius Ceasar) ect... could fit in.
Not really what I'd called villains where they are thoroughly evil to the core.

By that Sozen guy do you mean Firelord Ozai? He was the main villain of The Last Airbender.

I know who Sozin is, actually it is Ozai's grandfather. Ozai and Iroh's dad was Firelord Azulon. And I was just wondering if he made a mistake because he was only shown for part of an episode so I didn't really think of him as an option. To each his own though if that is what he meant to put.
