You're exactly the sameonly you're on the other side of the spectrum. If you don't know what he did you don't have the right to say that people are selfish, that the they are being unfair, that they are acting on their feelings and that they can't see it clearly as right now you did exactly the same. You can't say anything about fair or unfair as you don't know anything about the situation, still you said it, so you are also being directed by your own feelings. You say that everyone who doesn't agree with you is not a fair person even though you don't know much about the situation; who's the one then that is following his own emotions?
People that didn't or barely knew him shouldn't vote "yes" as then they're just trying to follow the main opinion, however people like you who say "I didn't know him so I vote no" or something like that are exactly the same as them or even worse. You are the one who has no right to say that other people are being unfair.
I am one of the persons who has known him the longest. I was one of the people who posted in his first Konnichi Wa thread if I recall correctly, maybe even the first and I was also the first person to whom he came for questions. And I can tell you during all his time as a member he has never done something specific that could be worth being IP banned for, however if you would pile up every incident he was involved with that's another story. From a pure objective point of view it would be a potential IP ban. In the end it would be still over the top, however it's certainly not so unfair as you are claiming. If you say it is than you truly do not know anything about the situation, so you can't say of other people that they are being unfair or selfish.
In the end I'm not in favour for an IP ban. Those are resereved for people who truly did or want to do horrible stuff to the forums with a full realisation of what they said or did. Someone who's threatening to hack the forums we're not going to consider that he's just bluffing, even though in most situations that's the case. If you say something like that you can't expect we aren't giong to react. However most of the problems Theos caused, even though some people might not believe that, were never intentional, they rarely had the purpose of spamming/insulting/breaking the rules, but it resulted in a mess just due to his own idiocy, character and lack of grammar. I don't find that a reason to IP ban him as in the end it often were truly accidents and not attempts to rape the forums. On top of that even though he's an über hardcore spiked pain in the ass I would miss him because even if he causes a lot of problems to the forums it's still often fun and hilarious to see what and how he's messing up things. I mean he is the epitome of making a name for yourself solely due to negative and humiliating stuff. We're talking about the origin of things like "bathetic" and "hursh" =D Iconic words in the history of NB, especially for people of my generation.
But if you want to know about the stuff he has been pulling, here you have some landmarks.
TCS-Theos-Takai-Asskickulator's NB history
- On several occassions he considered his own info, knowledge and authority higher than that of sensei's, mods, smods and admins. They all went against his opinion and statements, however he ignored them and considers them wrong. An example of that is the thread posted in the first post of this thread about Sonic's battle with him. He ignored everyone who was against him, even though they were sensei's and this has happened several times. I recall a battle where he even went agains the RP mods and where he was requesting the opinion of certain sensei's, but from the moment they were against him they were suddenly not sensei's anymore because he said so. I had to really rub it in his face that he was completely wrong.
- He has 8 pages full of infractions.
- I would say that around 1/4 or 1/5 of his time on NB he has spent being banned.

Don't let me start talking about his current bio.
- From the Fallen Angel's archive: The FA was a group brought into existence solely to cleanse the Arena from people like Theos (it was just for fun). As a result we had an archive on RP battles of potential targets and this was Theos' section:

- We have a rule in the Art and FF contest that it's forbidden to advertise the contest and certainly when you participate. This rule was installed due to him. He once made a FF called Generation Pearl or something, but his grammar sucks and the story wasn't great either, so how was it possible that he got so many votes in the FF contest of November 2009 and all from new members? We did some checking and it appeared that he went to all their profiles and asked them to vote in the FF contest and even posted the link to the thread. He never asked to vote for him, however if a senior member comes to your profile asking to vote in a thread in which he participates while you're a new member it's pretty much the same as asking to vote for you. If a senior member asks you to vote you almost automatically are going to vote for him just because he asked you that. And a lot of people voted for him that way. Of course that created a lot of dissatisfaction. Lawliet's, mine and other people's opinions were that he should have been DQ, however because it wasn't in the rules Lawliet decided that she couldn't do that, so Theos didn't get DQ.
And what did he do? He complained, accused Lawliet of being corrupt and demanded that he should get the first place as in the end he became third with one vote less than the 2nd and two from the first place. He went to the admins and made an entire exlpanation of Lawliet's corruption, that she was ordered by Flaw (what the fudge). But the admins didn't understand the situation due to his opinion based on things he made up himself and gave him the first medal and then he starts acting like "justice has prevailed". Of course Lawliet and I had to explain the situation completely against them, so his first medal was taken away and got again third place. Then he started complaining again, so we had to explain everything to him again.
What was happened was that we wanted to DQ him for those VM's he sent, however in the end Lawliet didn't do that. But what she did was deducting one vote of his for something completely different. Someone who voted for him said that he didn't read the other FF. I doubt everyone who votes in the FF contest read all the FF, however if someone says it that vote is voided. That's something we did for a long time. So he ended with 10 votes and third place. But then he completely makes something up like that Flaw said to Lawliet that she had to deduct votes from him or something. On top of that even if you would count that one vote he still wouldn't be first, so that he was first he made up too. In the end, outside that one vote, nothing happened but still he succeeded in dragging that out for weeks by running to admins and giving unclear explanations for made up stuff.
This was a perfect example of what I meant by that he doesn't want to intentionally cause trouble, however in his head he starts to link unrelated things with each other and makes stuff up like that.
- He once did the test for a Minato bio, however there he cheated by asking people for help. This is the post he made, even though it was clear that he cheated, he makes this for which he got banned:

- His custom jutsu's are barely understandable. They got often declined just for that so he sometimes asked me to edit them...seriously I got suicidal thoughts from that, though Emperor praised me for making the impossible possible.
- He had for a long time the tendency to report every insulting post that was aimed at him and he described those posts as "hursh" ~_~ and then instantly after he reported it he starts "flaming" the persons who insulted him, or at least he tried. He truly sucks at flaming, however he thinks he's good at it. Of course if you flame someone and he then flames back you just flame back again. But if you flame someone and that person tries but fails completely at flaming back it's paradise. There have been numerous threads that resulted in spamming because people tried to provoke him and he kept falling for it, especially in the GFX section. I remember he once said that he did it because he was a man, I couldn't stop laughing. If he would just not react a lot of spamming and flamming could have been avoided.
- Recently he got banned because he claimed he got the permission from Nexus to learn kinjutsu/fuuinjutsu, however he doesn't have any proof at all nor did he tried to give it. Nexus denied that he gave permission so in the end he got into a discussion with at least 3 mods even though it was clear from the start who would be right. On top of that he again added things which he made up himself like that Rag and Scarface are under "surveillance" and that they were going to be demodded. Even in the case they were under some kind of surveillance it would remain between the admins and smods and we would never tell anyone about that, so it's impossible for him to know such a thing...put aside that Rag gets promoted two days later after Theos said he was going to be demodded >.>
All the above was to show to all people that are sticking their noses into a discussion of which they know nothing. Theos never did something specific to deserve an IP ban, but during the course of the years he got quite the record that has been piling up and he extremely annoyed a lot of people, especially in the RP system, including mods, smods and admins. As I said I'm not in favour for an IP ban as in the end he didn't had the intention of causing trouble for the forums in most of the things he did. An IP ban is still IMO over the top, but saying that the people who are requesting it are selfish or unfair is a load of crap as they have got multiple understandable reasons for it.
In some way it's always funny to see him screwing things up, it can be a relief sometimes so I probably would miss the little bugger if he would be IP banned O_O he's like NB's pisspost (Dutch expression literally translated). Flaw had also hell of a lot of chances. I wouldn't compare Theos with Flaw, though you could see Theos in contrast with Flaw.
