If Madara is supposedly the most powerful person in Naruto. How was it that the 1st Hokage defeated him and started up Konoha? Especially when the 3rd Hokage defeated him and the 2nd Hokage no sweat in the fight against Orochimaru...

madara said he let the 1st hokage win on purpose but i personaly think he is shamed that he lost and about the 3th deafeating the 1st and 2nd hokages i think the reason is that they were under the complete control of orochimaru (i may be wrong )

this pretty much, madara may or may not be lieing about why he lost but either way it was a huge battle and the 1st died later in a battle or war.
the 1st and 2nd were being used as puppets by oro so they weren't at full power but neither were the 3rd or oro, 1st/2nd had no control so they weren't fighting like they would normally, the 3rd was in his 60s and having to choke down the fact that he was fighting his teachers and his favorite ex-student who he watched become a monster, alot of emotional turmoil+advanded age=low fighting ability. and oro was nearing the end of his body swaping jutsu so the body rejecting him weakens him and his overconfidence lead to him toying with the 3rd instead of trying to blitz him right off the bat.
I have thread on this which is really good.
Also people ffs can we stop saying this crap about "he let him win"
All he said was REASON WHY HE FOUGHT was to steal his powers. WHICH by the way is surrending in since he's "pruoud uchiha".
so plz no more let him win stuff, its so annoying. Like how people(not just on this forum) jump to ridiclous conclusions.
Madara said he was defeated and survied somehow then he Revealed his MOTIVE TO FIGHT HARAISHMA whcih was to take a piece of flesh. THats allnothing more, nothing less.
Also kabuto revealed the edo tensei bodies are limited to the knowledge of the summoner as he told his to dedari and let him do his own thing due to not understanding how his clay works. IT would be easy to say the same occured in the 1st and 2nd hokages with orocihmaru aswell.

I would say that the original user using their own techniques are going to be more effective every single time than someone basically remotely controlling puppets with techniques that are not going to be familiar to Kabuto or Orochimaru.
IWR may bring back all original techniques. But unless Kabuto is better at using their techniques then the original user then it would be a good reason.
Besides the 3rd Hokage fighting against the 1st and 2nd and still they weren't that effective compared to what I would expect. Most likely because Orochimaru isn't able to control them too the extent of what the real fight would be. Besides the 3rd Hokage had to use The Death Reaper Seal to finish the fight. That is pretty extreme measures.

Before I comment, would be great for the Shippuden movies to be a story we fans want to see ( 1st vs Madara, more on Minato etc ) rather then some random BS.

Well first id like to tell that with kishi we never know. We have seen Tobi/Madara restoring his arm in front of a zetsu like plant. Also when his arm was damaged white fluid came out and no black wich whould be black in the manga. Maybe Madara is Zetsu or sth like that. My point Madara lost his fight on purpose in order to get Hashirama's DNA then with the help of zetsu he made a body to store the DNA he stole and his own... Madara couldn't probably be alive through all these years... he would get old and die. Probably he was afraid of death like orochimaru and prepared a new long lasting body for him which would contain him and hashirama's DNA. It could be possible because as i mentioned When Madara had his arm off he replaced it in front of a zetsu plant. AGAIN i dont say he is a clone but a special body created with the help of zetsu...
