[Discussion] Sharinghan vs Rennengan

I reckon its the most powerful eye type too, I mean the ability to learn all ninjitsu, jutsu and taijutsu in a blink of an eye it gold, especially with the added bonus at being able to do jutsus like amatarasu and the giant shield guardian move. I mean what can the rennengan do?

I guess that those eyes were both equal. Because why would Madara use both these eyes in his plans? Just guessing.

srry bro id disagree to with time to fully understand its power the rinnegan is on its own
league
and how many rinnegan users are out there
and lets not forget it can take life and give it back that alone puts it beyond the shariangan

Its funny everyone disagree's to the sharinghan being more powerful but they fail to say why that is? Im not saying that their wrong and all its just, why is weaker or more powerful?

The Sharingan does not allow you to copy all ninjutsu, you need to be able to use the element whereas the Rinnengan allows you to use all the element types including the mastery of yin and yang. The Rinnengan can be used to cheat death, as well as being the original visual dojutsu. So the Rinnengan is better.

well the only rinnegan user (nagato) we've seen is able to use all 5 elements and the unique paths abilities,absorbing chakra,tearing your soul out,control over gravity (blowing away konoha and traping naruto in the small moon was all rinnegan power), control over life and death and generally high chakra levels.
nagato didn't even know what he had or how to use it and he killed trained chuunin from the stone and leaf in 1 attack. think thats above slow-mo vision,copying jutsu (Non-KG) and seeing through genjutsu. MS gets closer because of susanoo and EMS would get even closer but i don't think susanoo is better then control over life,death and gravity.

Although that's whats said in the manga and all, i have a little disagreement. If its MS/EMS, and that too of a pure blood uchiha like Itachi or Madara in the old days, i'm not sure if the rinnegan is better. Did Nagato with his rinnegan control the kyuubi in Naruto? Madara's EMS did(control the 9 tails), and if you combine that with space time ability and tsukiyomi level illusions you actually get a character who's stronger than what the rinnegan's powers have been shown to be.
