[Photoshop] Ava

Hey i wanted to make a new ava for myself so i took a pic from manga drew missing parts colored it and... didnt know what to do with it :/ so this is what i have now (my current ava) and i wanted to know if you have any good ideas for background/effects that i could get there or tell me how to improve it... or just tell me what u think about it .
I've never done ava before so -.-

The text is awful.
Also,when making a self drawn ava,it is better to not color it,and keep it artistic.

The text didn't seems that bad to me but ok, i haven't found a good font to use so i just deleted the the text:
