Looks: Tayuya's most distinctive feature was her long, untamed, red hair. She also wore a black hat with bandages on the sides but it was shredded once Tayuya got into her second state. She wears a tan tunic, along with all of the other members of Sound Four, with black shorts and standard black shinobi sandals. In her second state her skin turns brown and her usually brown eyes turn yellow. Her hair grows longer and she grows horns.
Personality: Tayuya was overbearing and foul-mouthed towards most people, especially Jirōbō, calling him "fatty", as he criticized her over it. She didn't think much of Shikamaru Nara as a leader, but as a weak, useless rat, who ran away when she used her Doki to attack him. Like several of the Sound Four, Tayuya had her own perception of morality as she criticized Shikamaru for sacrificing members of his team to bring back one person who left with them voluntarily. Orochimaru commented that Tayuya has a "doesn't-want-to-lose" mentality that can slow down the team. Like the rest of the Sound Five, Tayuya constantly referred her enemies as "trash".

Description:A Genjutsu technique utilized by the Sound ninja Tayuya. To use this illusion she needs to enter her cursed seal level two form. When she plays the music for this illusion on her flute, her opponent's mind enters a barren wasteland. While in this illusion the ninja feels retrained by
chains which bind the user as their skin and muscle begins to melt off their bones. Because they feel restrained in the illusion, they are retrained in real life as well.

Description: After summoning the Doki, the user will play a melody, which causes them to emit an ethereal ghost of chakra from their mouths. These ghosts are basically chakra imbued with mental energy. They starve for physical energy and only have a desire to feed on the chakra of anyone close. If they manage to consume the chakra of someone close, it will limit their opponent�s ability to create any more chakra of their own.
Note:Must Have a flute to use this jutsu.

History: Sasuke Retrieval Arc
The Sound Four escorted Sasuke Uchiha when he decided to join sides with Orochimaru. When Sasuke Retrieval Team caught up with the Sound Four after having left Neji and Chōji behind to deal with Kidōmaru and Jirōbō, they managed to take the barrel Sasuke was being carried in from her. While trying to take it back Sakon and Ukon were separated from her, leaving her to get it back. While trying to, she was confronted by Kimimaro, her former leader, who threatened to kill her if she didn't deal with some of the Konoha ninja resulting in her fighting Shikamaru Nara.

Demonic Flute
Of all the Sound 4, Tayuya is the only of the 4 to use Sound as her primary means of attack. Using this flute, Tayuya could cast genjutsu and control her Doki by playing specific melodies. This is the only item she kept with her. She claimed that no one who has ever heard the sound of her flute has lived. If the opponent recognizes her melody she can change it to confuse them.
Cursed Mark
Tayuya's cursed seal consists of three hooks, similar to a triskelion on the back of her neck. When the second level of her seal is active, her hair grows longer, she grows five oddly-placed horns on her head, slightly resembling a crown, and her skin turns dark brown. The horns grow when she exerts herself. Her strength increases, to the point of breaking free of the Shadow Imitation Technique.
Doki
The Doki (怒鬼, Doki; English TV "Rage Ogres"; Literally meaning "Angry Demons") are three beings summoned by Tayuya. Their eyes and ears are covered and their mouths are sewn shut, a reference to the three wise monkeys. By playing specific melodies on her Demonic Flute, Tayuya can control them, each melody causing them to perform different actions.
Each demon is different in appearance and each wields a different weapon. One wears a dark green full-body suit and its hair covers its entire head and face. It wields a giant metal club. The other is shirtless and wears dark pants. Its bald and it has scars on its head, similar to Ibiki Morino and it wears a blindfold. It has a thorn-like weapon tied to each arm. The other has its upper body covered in bandages and wears brown pants. Its head is in an awkward position and has several needles pinned on it. It dosn't have arms and thus it doesn't wield any weapon. Each demon has a purple, rope-like belt tied in an inverted bow around its waist, like Tayuya and the rest of the Sound Four.
The Doki are incredibly strong and fast. In addition, Tayuya can use her flute song to force open their mouths to release a many-mouthed, worm-like creature that consist almost entirely of spiritual energy, making them impossible to hit. These "spirit worms" are attracted to physical energy, and absorb it on contact, allowing them to weaken an opponent. Tayuya can send away the Doki if necessary, by making a half ram seal and saying "dispel" as seen during her battle with Shikamaru after he gains control of them.
