I dont find itachis age valid

I have found out Itachi on the original naruto is 18 yrs old, and on shippuden 20. Sasuke was 12 in original naruto, so that tells us there is a 6 year difference between the two. But in the flashback when itachi was a good guy and lived with little sasuke and his parents, before wiping out his own clan, he looks like he is 16.. But sasuke looks like he is 6 years old, and as there is a 6 year difference, then itachi would have to be 12, but he looked much older than 12.. So what do you guys think..

Well, I just find it amuzing how itachi really looks grown, but his actual age would be around 13.. It doesnt make much difference, I just found this to be a little intresting. Relax.

Where did you find this info? I looked over the net in naruto sites, and characters profiles, and it said on the original naruto, itachi was 18 yrs old, and sasuke was 12, making that a 6 year difference gap between the two.

Theres nothing accurate about timelines in Naruto or shippuden. Itachi was 3-4 during the 3rd shinobi war. Which was 16+ years before the current storyline, and 10+ years before Sauske left the Leaf and found Orochimaru. Best anyone can do is come up with relative times/ages of things, and events. Because the events and timelines/flashbacks that overlap the story dont do so well to describe times accurately..

Itachi was 7 when he activated Sharingan, 8 when he passed academy. 11 when he joined Ambu. Killed Shisui within a year or so for after 6 months of joining ambu Uchihas had set Shisui to spy on him. 13 when he was made Ambu captain. He massacred his clan sometime after being made captain.

His age is true, he was 13 when he joined the elite ranks of the ANBU black ops I'm pretty sure, and a few months after he killed his clan.
