[Theory] Itachi's Gift To Naruto was a way to Unlock the Rinnegan?? Perhaps?

susanoo requires EMS just like amaterasu. itachi used them both, therefore he had EMS

Ok let's set the record here, Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan has only been obtained by Madara Uchiha by taking his brothers eyes, Sasuke and Itachi perforemd susano'o with Mangekyo Sharingan! not Eternal, however sasuke will now possess the EMS in future episodes unlocking new abilities and strengthening his old. SO NO ITACHI NEVER HAD EMS BECAUSE HE NEVER SHOWED EMS,AND SASUKE PERFORMED SUSANOO WITHOUT EMS! EMS requires you and your brother to both possess Mangekyo and for one to remove the others and take them, so in no conceivable way could Itachi have had EMS, especially since he said only he and Madara unlocked mangekyo sharingan and if sasuke did he would be the third.

I've heard a couple theories about how naruto is the reincarnation of the sage of the 6 paths. Jiraiya believed nagato was the reincarnation solely because of the rinnegan he had. Naruto has everything the sage of 6 paths had besides the rinnegan.

he may unlock the rinngan. maybe itachi gave him power to do so. maybe hell unlock the rinnegan by saving sasuke ( opposite of MS idk ) or maybe by having to kill sasuke. its not like we can prove anything lol

I think that the reincarnation of the sage of the 6 paths is Uchiha Mandara.That's why he said that he gave Nagato the rinnengan.Because Nagato descents from the sage of the 6 paths.And Itachi doesn't have the power to awaken rinnengan...He proppably gave a part of his chakra to Naruto in order to activate it when he fights with Sasuke.

I believe that to awaken the Rinnengan certain things are required. The rinnengan I believe is a mutation of the sharingan when fused with the other descendent DNA.

1. The body of the sage (of Senju descent)
2. Life or death situation/extreme trauma
3. A certain transfer of something from a Uchiha with the EMS.

I suspect that Madara is not lying when he says that he "gave" Nagato the rinnengan; but he was able to do this with the ems and the fact that he is a uchiha which I believe is a requirement in ones body to have the rinnengan mutation appear.

I have not concluded if I think Itachi did the same thing to naruto as madara did to nagato. But it seems highly likely.

If, if anyone else is getting the rinnegan its sasuke. Madara means to have sasuke sync withe the gedo mezo statue. He told this to kabuto before or after showing him the 100,000 zetsu clones.

I think this gift to naruto is for when naruto is sol, he might get some sharingan for a minute, its gonna give him some chakra of course.

Im gonna change my avatar pic, with this I think it might be the answer to this whole itachi's gift naruto thing!

I think gift is not to unlock rinnegan or anything like that. since itachi hoped naruto dont have to use that power or something? rinnegan would be great thing to bring peace to world. for what i think he just got hes last great bj before he died crow in the mouth? dont be ridiculous.
