It's not fake.. but it's not from the manga or anything.
It was a video made by Kishimoto, for a special contest or something. Anyway, first 200 000 people who bought some t-shirt got the video as well at some expo.

It's not a filler, or an anime episode, but an OVA.

It's not a preview either, it is the actual OVA. It's only 6-7 minutes long.
It doesn't fit anywhere in the manga I think, its a completely random fight.

i dont believe that it had better fights....the sasuke vs itachi fight was way better than the hole fights in the naruto series...seriously shippuden rocks!!! xd

No way, the original Sasuke vs. Naruto fight was just too epic. That is one of my favorite fights of the whole series. And maybe Lee and Gaara vs. Kimmimaro, either way I'm saying that most of the fights in shippuden weren't all that awesome, someone would use some overpowered move and blam fight is over one way or the other.

true the old naruto series was more fight than talking shit...shippuden i believe its all about learning how everything happened that all but still there are lots of epic fights in shippuden too!!

haha but i think that the naruto vs pain fight has been the most epic fight in the entire series (better than naruto and sasukes fight) plus the naruto vs the nine tailed fox...sasuke vs itachi.....all the akatsuki fights...every thing haha its co0l!

I didn't particularly like Naruto v Pein. It was mostly Naruto using Rasengan the entire time and then saying oh hey I can throw this shit as well. Then after that he just went into 8 tails and then rasengan'd him again. Fight over. I guess I'm saying I like it whenever shinobi actually use their full abilities and not just demonstrate one jutsu. The Itachi vs Sasuke fight though was completely awesome.

i guess your right it is more awesome to see them using kunai's using taijutsu,genjutsu and ninjutsu! it makes a better fight and it leaves you in more suspense haha xd
