Your right, having the stored tailed beast chakra is important when it came to the creation of his army and having a trump card, but I think collecting them all before becoming the SO6P puts him at risk.
We know that the Hachibi and Kyuubi are both well-accepted shinobi in their respective villages. The other 7, with the exception of the 2 tails, were not. The two tails pinned herself into a corner, thinking she'd win, and lost for that very reason. The other 6 tailed beasts had no backup because they were either far from home, or had no allies. In the case of Naruto and Bee, it has been faaaar too difficult for Madara to capture them. Kisame, his best tailed beast tamer, was able to beat Bee but lost because he had backup. Pain beat Naruto but lost because he got overconfident and killed a close friend of Naruto's, forcing him into 9-tails mode and letting him get the advantage back.
I'm just saying that to beat these two, it may have been better to try to become the SO6P before doing so, or at least gather more paths. Granted, we don't know what the last 3 paths are yet, but will eventually. Not to mention, he was able to make 100k Zetsus with only 7 of the 9 beasts, he really didn't need anymore than that. I just think the "paths" thing came into the equation too late, Madara should have been attempting to gather them sooner.

Maybe madara was the name he just pick, so as to instill fear into the heart of ninjas, i really think that he's not madara, and there is still one mystery, who was in that coffin that made madara scared shit of kabuto?

Hey dude srry if I sounded like an ass in my last post. I meant to say that there are many theories revolving around around Tobi and "who is in the coffin" that many have become repeated over and over, and I'm sure that Kishi will just make them look like child's play when he finally reveals the true identity. Its gonna be mindblowing xd. At least I hope so :ghehe:
By one sided I mean that the Alliance have been kicking ass all the way so far and noone important from the Alliance has been taken down yet while characters like Zabuza, Asuma, etc. from Madara's side were defeated quickly.
Yh i agree, the Asuma fight was dissapointing but the Hanzo battle just took the piss. Hanzo, a ninja who konoha's saanin struggled against so much was pretty muched tossed aside by Mifune. Im not doubting Mifune but it could have at least been 2 or 3 chapters longer and there could have at last been a few deaths in that fight.
Oh well, im not doubting kishi, he will deliver for us

yup the anime is only based on the manga so it shouldnt be taken too seriously.
i mean an S-rank example is the eight tails saying
"the only people besides him with that chakra are the silver and gold brothers"
well sora wasnt mentioned.....which is a good thing

lets take some factors into account
1- HES NOT ON THE FILED YET, HE'S IN THE CLOUD VILLAGE
2- UNLESS HE'S ON THE BEACH WHERE MADARA IS, IM SURE HE'D KICK ASS IF HE WAS ON THE FIELD
3- WHO THE **** IS GONNA OWN NARUTO??? ESPECIALLY WITH BEE BY HIS SIDE???
Would the Byakugan be another? as they say, there are Three Eye Jutsus the renningan, sharingan and the byakugan? If it is one getting a Byakugan would be easy for Madara, even the Mist was able to get one. So if the Byakugan would be one, whats the last one?
I agree, that there hasn't been much of loss on the Alliance, if i would list people to die here they are
1. The Tsuchikage (Ultimate sacrifice to defeat the Invisible Man)
2. Choza (to remind Choji power isn't everything it is still his heart that matters)
3. The Raikage (to save Bee)
4. Tsunade (fighting Dan, and to give way for Naruto to be the Next Hokage)
5. Mifune ( just a random freak death hehehehe)
Wwweeelllllll I dont know about that....meaning I believe this was not done without a diabolical plot behind it. I dont think Madara ever really expected to cause major damage to the shinobi army by zetsu's alone.
Madara knew from the beginning the full strength of the shinobi army and factored this in from the beginning. Remember he has been in and around every Ninja country, observiing, watching, listening and taking notes of just about everyone for quite some time (16 years).
Thus the reason he used 100,000 zetsu so that he could keep them BUSY FOR A WHILE. He never intended to defeat the JSA with just zetsu's, it was always his intention to use them as a mere distraction whilst he did things in the background ie, finish capturing the 8 & 9 tails.
Getting the help of Kabuto was just an extra bonus and then he factored in the Impure world resurection technique of Kabuto for added DISTRACTION.
Now that Naruto and Bee came out he has no reason to hold back anymore, which is why he has just now unleshed the Gedo Maze.
I hear what you are saying however....the Gedo Maze is no joke especially considered it now has 7 tailed beast chakra's stored in it to draw upon.
This thing is a super beast by itself... and I think we are about to see the undertaker jump for joy as the bodies are about to start piling up.
