All of a sudden, a giant smoke explosion occurs out of nowhere and as it fades away, the silhouette of a medium sized and Musculous man can be seen.The man walks forwards to reveal he is no other than Jinbei Uchiha, also known as the Crimson Uchiha.He greets his student and the places both of his hands in his pockets.

"Wait, no stones that are scraping the earth beneath me, or soaring at a high speed through the air against my head? What's going on?!" Said Darui, obviously confused about nothing hitting him.
As he hears what his sensei asks of him, he starts to respond.
Earth, is one of the most fundemental things that is present in the place we call "the earth". It is solid, yet at some points it's stability can be broken down. Earth is, in some way, at the foundation of almost everything we know. We build houses made of earth, or modifications of this earth. We also plant vegetables on it, and gather resources out of the earth that are precious to us.
Earth, and of course the manipulation of earth, is a very vital thing for any ninja who is able to wield it. It is used for offence, but also for defensive measurement. It can create shields, walls, even mud-like rivers that are very hard to avoid or break, considering the fact that earth is a solid element. As for the offensive aspect of earth, you can make items out of it, spikes and a large amount of other things that can take the opponent by surprise. You can also change the consistency of the earth, making it very dangerous.
When we talk about the defensive abilities of earth, we mostly imagine the idea of rock solid walls, defending us from incoming attacks. We can also hide in and under the earth as a way of defending ourselves, or hoping to avoid incoming attacks.
"I can't really come up with more at the moment sensei, that's everything I seem to know without cheating and extracting information elsewhere. I'm sorry if I disappoint you." Said darui, apologetically.

Darui starts to walk towards the stone. When he reaches it, he jumps and lands on the stone, and then takes a meditative position.
He starts by closing his eyes, and clears out his mind. As he lets everything go out of his mind, he feels everything that happens around him. The wind is rustling through the leaves of the trees a bit further. The water of a nearby creek slowly streams, its sound almost entrancing Darui. He then feels the earth of the stone he's sitting on. He feels the solidness, the life that flourishes inside of the rock.
"Wow..." Thought Darui as he felt the presence of the rock. "I've never realised anything that goes on the earth as I'm feeling it now... It's exhilarating..." Thought Darui, feeling puny before the power of the earth.
He then started pouring his chakra into the rock. To the surprise, the stone reacted, first violently, as if it didn't accept his chakra, but then at ease, knowing that he meant it no harm. He felt the properties of the stone, and found its weaknesses.

He then connects with the earth again, and starts to focus his chakra into the same earth. Slowly, he starts out slowly, pouring a small amount in first, then changing the amount of chakra he induces the ground with. Luckily, he has some experience in shape manipulation from his other elemental lessons already, proving him capable of making a sword. he starts to form the hilt, and lets his finger go off the ground. His finger goes higher and higher from the ground, and more and more of the sword actually manifests. After a few moments, Darui stands proudly with a sword of stone in his hand.
"Wow. Epic." Said Darui, with big eyes.

Now,for the next jutsu, you'll have to go underground.For this,you'll need to focus your chakra throughout your whole body and then, again, send your chakra and become one with the earth. After doing that,all you need to do is travel through the ground while still bumping chakra through your whole body and emerge right beneath your opponent,grab him by his ankles and pull him down,only letting his head remain above the ground and then emerge.

Well,do the same as you did for the first jutsu and shape it to a spear instead of a rock.Then throw it.
I start to focus chakra in my hands to my hand again, As I focus the chakra, a small chunk of rock starts to react, and flies into it. Having previous experience with the sword, I start to change the shape of the a staff. At first, it looks rediculous, but I then start to reshape it, having a nice staff after a few tries. I just back a little bit, and throw the staff against your head, considering you still didn't push yourself up from my last attack. p)

I start by creating a clone myself to practice on.
the clone jumps back to long range. I then start to focus my chakra in to the ground. I let it connect with the ground around my clone, letting my chakra seep in the ground. I then cause the earth to crack, and let the clone fall in the ground. While I do this, I crack the earth even more, letting two giant blocks of earth fall down on my clone, letting it poof away.

Darui starts to focus his chakra in the ground once more. As he has already become more at easy with the way the doton chakra feels, he starts to let his chakra flow out, reaching the ground. He then changes the texture of the sound, and its consistency, changing it into small grains of sand. While he's underground, he has the weirdest feeling. He seems to be able to feel what is going on around him, letting him sense the chakra on the surface, and that his sensei has just made a clone. He figures he needs to attack this clone. He then goes to where the clone sands, pulls the clone underground and beheads him.

If the enemy knows you're underground, you're pretty much fooked.

You don't need hand seals for it,you basically focus your chakra where you want the earth spikes to grow and then you simply watch it all happen.

I start out by focusing a good amount of chakra in my body. I start to send it out through the ground, through my feet. I send te chakra racing through the earth, letting it manifest in a circle around you. I then let the chakra meld with the earth, and let it rise the earth rise around you, letting the earth around you manifest into several spikes, that shoot out everywhere around your body, just far enough to not touch you.
