!~ Personality ~! Mei is a kind young girl who is always polite and is very considerate. Mei is a very mature girl for her age and will always speak politely and is never rude, even to her opponent. She will defend those that she cares about and will also battle without mercy if she is in a terrible mood. She loves to laugh and loves to smile and always produces a positive aura, the only time she produces a negative aura is when she is angry and takes a serious attitude to something. She also has a very over-active imagination which can lead her to exaggerate situations.

Basic Puppet One - Neko (Cat)
Neko is a puppet that was based off a small household cat. It can fire poison coated kunai and needles from compartments in it’s legs, tail and mouth. This puppet can also be dismantled into different segments much like Kankuro’s puppet Crow and each segment has a blade that folds out.
Basic Puppet Two - Sasoriza (Scorpio)
Scorpio is a smallish styled scorpion puppet that as large as a human and very fast but holds still some small assortment of weapons being able to release several smoke bombs and flash bangs and makabushi for halting the enemy aswell as being loaded within the inner sections explosive notes that will cause the puppet to become a bomb that can be used to explode releasing kunai in all directions for added affect. It can also use its tail to stab enemies and poison them.
Basic Puppet Three - Fenikkusu (Phoenix)
Fenikkusu’s weapon assortment consists of kunai (which also includes kunai attached with explosive tags), smoke bombs, flash bombs, poison gas bombs and also needles that are shot from the beak; this can also change to protrude a flamethrower that is capable of firing a red hot flame. The wings fold out from its back like flaps and release chakra to fly. The legs are able to shoot an assortment of poison coated items much like that from the beak. The main segment of the body has a compartment that can be used to trap targets or hold the user within and release kunais and blades at him from seals placed everywhere in the compartment.
All 3 basic puppets are held in scrolls that are contained in her ninja tool pouch.

!~ Background Information ~!
!~ History ~! Mei Chang is the daughter of Junki and Hana Uchiha. Mei's parents had been banished from Konohagakure for a total time of 3 years. Mei's parents moved to Amegakure, where they had friends that they lived with, Mei's father began to slip into a deep depression after Mei's mother died after giving birth to Mei. The only thing that really seemed to keep Junki going was that he believed that Mei was a kind reminder for him, to make sure that he would never lose his loved ones again. With this in mind Mei's father started to slowly train his young daughter into becoming a powerful kunoichi. Mei spent 3 years training with her father, they even left Amegakure to live in a secluded house away from the main 5 villages, and Junki even disregarded returning to Konoha.
Mei awakened her Sharingan at the age of 4, whilst defending herself from bandits that had attacked Mei and her father’s home. It was a surprise attack that, with no surprise, surprised Mei's father. Mei had been outside in the nearby forest, picking flowers for the anniversary of her mother’s death, when the bandits had attacked. Mei returned home to see her father bleeding on the ground with the bandits kicking him, as Mei began to cry, 3 of the bandits noticed her and attacked her. Everything happened so fast, that can hardly believe that it actually happened, but the next thing she knew the three bandits that had attacked her were lying unconscious on the ground around her with the remaining 6 bandits staring at her in bewilderment.
The leader decided to attack Mei, whilst the rest continued to beat up her father, thanks to her Sharingan having been activated by seeing her father in such a state as well as the continuous training that he had given her she completely out matched and pulverized the bandit, bringing him to a near death state. This scared the rest of the bandits, who grabbed their unconscious comrades and skedaddled before they could feel the wrath of this tiny yet ferocious girl. After they ran for their lives, Mei collapsed by her father's side after she had managed to stumble to him.
When she awoke, Mei saw an unnaturally large cat sleeping by her side. When Mei sat up, the cat spoke to her, telling her the situation. Mei wasn't surprised by this and couldn't shed a tear for her father's death. She lived with the cats, who she found out that were living in a huge community and also discovered that they had a summoning contract, which she signed. She spent a year, living with the Cats but they decided that she needed to be around humans so they sent her to the closest village which turned out to be Kumogakure. When she reached Kumogakure, she asked around to see where she could find the Raikage. The Cat Family had given Mei a letter that was to be given to the Raikage. When Mei found the Raikage, she addressed him formerly and gave him the letter, the letter contained the paw print of a cat and also had some writing on it. It turned out that the Raikage had met the Cat family in his earlier years and that he owed them a favour. So his 'IOU' was finally over as he accepted Mei as a ninja of Kumogakure.
Mei trained vigorously, topping her class and graduating from the academy the same year she applied. She became a renown young kunoichi who often travelled back and forth to Kumogakure and the home of the Cat Family. She has allowed two people to sign the contract of the Cat family but has threatened them that if they disrespect or mistreat the cats, they will be wiped from the contract. Also on her travels she met a man who offered to allow her to sign an animal contract for Vultures and to teach her the current summons. She is currently continuing her training and searching for someone who can help her further understand her birth clan's Kekkei Genkai the Sharingan.

Above is a visual representation for her Taijutsu skills. She is incredibly agile, shows a great amount of flexibility, is well co-coordinated and has amazing balance.
!~ Xiao-Mei ~!

Xiao-Mei (also recognized as Shao May) is Mei Chang's pet cat that looks like a panda and traveling companion. Xiao-Mei was given to Mei by the Cat family when Mei left for proper training. The two are constantly together and Xiao-Mei frequently mimics May's actions whether it be in expression or performing martial arts, taking whatever pose her master takes and moving in synchronized union with her. Xiao-Mei does not fight along side Mei but instead watches from the side lines.

This type of Sharingan has 1 tomoe. It allows the user to perceive motions. An example of this was in the battle between Sasuke and Haku. Sasuke could see Haku's attacks coming. The user's pupil turns bloody red, and gains an extra pupil, or tomoe within each eye that will surround the original, centered pupil. When active the user now has the ability to track speeds that normally cannot be seen by the regular human eye. They also gain the ability to see through visual D rank genjutsu and can predict most taijutsu and ninjutsu movement and technique, allowing one to be able to react best to the situation.
