when Naruto meets Jiraiya

just a quick question..

i've been reading Naruto again from the beginning, and when Naruto and Jiraiya met why ddnt he ever tell Naruto that his father was the Fourth, he only said that "the fourth was his apprentice", and "you resemble him in a funny way."

it seems to me that he doesn't even know who Naruto is.. where in fact the name Naruto came from his 1st ever book.. right?

I dn't get why they never told Naruto that he was the child of the Fourth.. and those frekin ppl in the village use to fukn hate on him..

jiraiya had to have known if kakashi knew, kakashi knew he was the 4th's son so if kakashi knew jiraiya had to have know. plus jiraiya knew the 4th sealed the fox inside his own son and he knew naruto had the fox inside him hence he knew it was minato's kid. If people knew it was minato's kid it would be an embarrassment to the 4th LOL, 4th was such a genius and naruto so dumb lol!!! jus kidding

it wasnt something you would just go around telling him, if naruto knew before that he was the son of the 4th, he would of course brag about it and make him that much more of a target... of course the counter arguement is that most peopel seem to know that Minato sealed the nine tails in his own son...... soooo.... it not like he wasnt a target to begin with.

It was kept a secret for some purposes by those fu**in' elders and Danzo like some other secrets they kept like to Sasuke...
Also, at the time, Naruto was really too much hating the people who sealed the fox and he'll not understand the purpose as conveniently as when Minato met him...Kishi, Jiraiya and everyone else who knew (not Danzo though) waited for the right moment to tell Naruto when he'll be more mature and I see that the result is pretty good...

kakashi, jiraya, sarutobi even tsunade knows that he is the son of the 4th,,, is just that... i think naruto is too young to understand his condition and everyone knows that just maybe.. they tend to look the perfect time for naruto before telling the truth

i think jiraiya really did forget that he made up the name naruto way back then.. He just remembered it back when he was dying.

But ye jiraiya did know naruto was the 4th's son and knew he had the kyuubi. He coudlve guessed it on the first meeting because minato grew up on jiraiya's side so he did see the resemblance. But just like anyone else who knew, no1 did ever mentioned it.

Although there is 1 thing im still curious about. I understand about Tsunade/ Jiraiya/ Madara /3rd hokage and Kakashi and i am also guessing that Orochimaru knew and perhaps Itachi found out later aswell that Naruto is the 4ths son. But what about all other jounin ? Guy, Asuma , Kurenai etc.. did they also knew about it ?

He also trained Nagato and Minato too. They became leaders of their land and famous ninjas, I think he knew what he was doing with Naruto.
