Obviously i was speak about naruto when i stated that he was hiding. What would Sasuke need to hide from? noone has been chasing him besides Naruto, which gives Sasuke nothing to be afraid of.

Be more elaborate on what i was wrong about. Because i made my statements based only on opinion and fact of the anime and manga and how i interpet it. How many countless times has a sensei or friend had to come save Naruto even before he failed to beat an oppenent. Countless times Sasuke relied on only himself, which lead him to victory almost everytime.

i ask you the same question, how many times has Sasuke needed to be saved by his teammates? Zabuza? Orochimaru? Gaara? Bee? Raikage?

i never said BAD should win or always will win. I said the reason why it doesn't is because people PREFER it that why. I only ALONG THE LINES of that bad should prevail once in awhile, and that Sasuke can most likely beat Naruto at this point, and he still has a long way to go to be even comparable to Sasuke. Heck even Madara know's this, did you watch the latest anime episode? probably not...

lol i did watch the recent anime but it seems like to me that all you do is watch the anime and dont even read the manga. cuz had you read the manga you would know that at the moment Naruto has long surpassed Sasuke and it is Sasuke that has catching up to do. you probably dont even know what Rikudo Mode or Kyuubi Mode is. no way Sasuke can compete with that, he may have a chance once recieving his EMS but you probably dont even know that he had Itachis eyes transplanted now do you..?

you could say im bashing Naruto and riding Sasuke. I do like both of them. I personally think Naruto is still childish. He has worked to get to where he is, and i give him credit for that, so has Sasuke. I wasn't per say Comparing their tragedies being so similar, it's hard to say which is worse, i myself have lost people close to me IRL. I'd also say it was worth it, knowing them rather then not knowing them. But on the basis of the story, i'd say Sasuke's tragedy was worse. Because he lost everything. Naruto didn't know anything to lose. Although he has learnt about his parent's slightly, he is recovering better than Sasuke.
oh yes, Naruto was real childish when facing Akatsuki members like Kakuzu and Pain. recovering better than Sasuke..? Sasuke chose to live for revenge and hate. Naruto could have made all the wrong choices Sasuke made. he even said it himself that their positions could easily have been switched. but Naruto chose to live for his friends and village, not for revenge or hatred. even Gaara who lost his mother and was a target to be killed by his village and own father went from living in hatred to being about his friends and village.
I know it's the plot and the story, but without the 9 tails Naruto would be nothing. His big fights were progress in his growth. Sasuke learn't his abilities faster and bettter than Naruto. Naruto does have strong taijutsu; what i mean't by techniques is that compared to Sasuke, Naruto requires lots of clones to beat his opponents, Sasuke has used himself and only himself to beat multiple opponents.
without his sharingan Sasuke would be nothing. without his sharingan Kakashi would be nothing. without his wood style Hashirama would be nothing. without FTG Minato would be nothing. without the 8tails Bee would be nothing. without taijutsu Lee and Guy would be nothing. without byakugan Neji, Hinata and the whole Hyuuga clan would be nothing. what was your point...?
Sasuke is "The Genious". Naruto is "The Hard Worker". of course Sasuke learn abilities fast, because he is a prodigy. but Naruto has also learned powerful techniques and jutsus in very short periods of time. he learned the forbidden jutsu Shadow Clones over night, learned Rasengan in 3 days, it took Minato 3 years to create, took him to perfect the Rasengan into the Rasenshuriken in a very short period of time. what should have taken him many years, took him a couple of days because of his shadow clones. took him a couple of days to master Sage Mode which took Jiraiya years to learn, and Jiraiya didnt even fully master it. you need to rethink about your statements with Naruto being an idiot and not learning jutsus fast like Sasuke.
Sasuke had backup fighting Bee, the Kages, etc. Naruto clones are his jutsu so in actuality Naruto is relying in himself to defeat his opponents. Naruto has beaten the majority of his opponents on his own while Sasuke nearly died in many of his fights and needed saving from his teammates whether be Team 7 or Taka.. and if Sasuke didnt have backup in his fights and fought 1on1 than his opponent killed themselves, was in a weakened state and/or let him win. only person that doesnt apply to any of that is Danzo.
Yes i'd say your right, i have underestimated Naruto and Overestimated Sasuke, I cave over that one.
But as i stated, it is only an opinion. I'm not saying Masashi was wrong or right or should have done this different or that better etc. I'm only thinking that it could have been better if done different. My word isn't much, but as i say, it's just an opinion.

If you think about it, Naruto only really held his own in most of his fights because of the Nine tails besides the fight Vs Kakuzu and Pain. Althought going 8 tails, tired out pain majorly. And alot of his fights during the original Naruto he powered up from using the nine tails chakra, sasuke doesn't have that kind of EXTRA chakra camping inside of him. I suppose you are right about Sasuke winning only because of special circumstances such as Orochimaru being weekened. Yes early on Sasuke was quite weak, the point of it was for Naruto to win not Sasuke, but however at those time's even with the nine tails boost, Sasuke could beat Naruto. I say he still can.
Naruto power comes from within himself. his true power isnt the 9tails but it sure as hell is a good asset to him. yes you are right Sasuke does not have a tailed beast like Naruto but nonetheless Sasuke is strong in his own right. his power comes from his Sharingan and his ability to master his jutsus like chidori, manipulating it to all different kinds of lightning attacks like Kiri and manipulating the amaterasu which Itachi didnt even do.
in the end idk who will win. it foreshadows that they will both die in their fight but than again i havent given up on Naruto's ability to change peoples heart so in the end maybe Sasuke will have a change of heart. but never will Naruto be defeated. he is the strongest character in his own story and in the end it will either result in him beating Sasuke, in him convincing Sasuke to change or in him and Sasuke both dying. but never will Sasuke beat Naruto in their final fight.. or else the show and manga would have been called "Sasuke" instead of "Naruto"..
O man really. Ive seen some sasuke loves but you take the cake. First calling Naruto an idiot I will give you half that. Naruto's character is slow but when push comes to shove he is an absolute genus when it comes to fighting. outsmarting everyone he's faced so far. Opponents that have seen hundreds of battles and one who was undefeated. in the village the only person that could come up with better strategies is shika and his father. Also learning jutsu is easy to Naruto learning the rasengan 3 days after knowing the steps something that surprised both the sennins. I don't exactly know what your talking about when you say Naruto is hiding behind his teachers? Naruto as of lately has been the one protecting his teachers and providing them back up. The kages are the ones that wont let Naruto fight. If it were up to Tsunade she'd put Naruto in the front line.
You bring up the fact that Naruto can't fight and has no taijutsu skills. I think you are wrong base mode Naruto is a decent fighter as proof when he ran out of sage mode he faced god realm in a hand to hand combat. Now if you say Nagato isn't a good fighter then you need to watch the Jiraiya VS Pain fight again, with their shared vission he should have easily took out Naruto if he wasn't a good fighter. Then you have sage mode. If Naruto fought Sasuke in sage mode hand to hand Naruto would kill him. First you have the frog katas which is invisible to anyone unless you are familiar to natural energy. Even doujutsu users like the sharingan can not see it. As proof the rinnegan can see the color of chakra. God realm knew Tsunade and her AMBU members were redirecting chakra to their feet to stop his jutsu. As for kyuubi mode Naruto's speed increases so much that he gains his fathers type speed even Kisame, a great taijutsu user couldn't see his movements. Sasuke rely on his ultimate defense so his tailjutsu is decreasing. He may ingage in taijutsu with Naruto but he will be in a big surprise as he will have to enter into his Susano'o type quick. Also Sasuke probably would be able to clearly dodge the FRS. In sage mode Naruto's physical strength is amazing at the speed he throws the FRS its really almost impossible to dodge especially is he doesn't know what the jutsu is, also the jutsu can expand stretching its radius. The TBR on the other hand is a mystery.
Naruto is one of the strongest shinobi in the world with the potential to get even stronger if he learns the art of the sealing jutsu. Only Sasuke and Madara can actual compete with Naruto. How can you actually say he has very little progress. Even in base mode he is as or more powerful than Kakashi. He took out God realm with just base mode. The boys 16 and is already as powerful as his father and surpassed all his teachers even Jiraiya.
I don't think Sasuke can actually stop Naruto because he is geting so powerful and Naruto's battle intelligence is kicking in, his strategies make it great to watch him fight. Only if EMS is worth the hype.

He defeated Pain, mastered sage mode, and tamed the nine-tails (the strongest tailed beast). He also killed kakuzu, yes I'm aware Kakashi took out the last heart but Naruto hit him with the rasen shuriken to kill. Naruto also does know taijutsu... Uzamaki Barrage? He also learned to use his shadow clones for him, not just spam them anymore.
What has sasuke done?
He killed Orochimaru when he was at his lowest possible power level. He beat Itachi WHO LET HIM WIN. And he would have been killed by the raikage/mizukage had Gaara/Madara not saved him. He killed Danzou, congrats one person you had to fight that didn't let you kill them. He is madara's lap dog, and he doesn't even realize it.

Ok Naruto and Sasuke have been pretty much equals up until recent chapters... and this is where Naruto surpasses Sasuke.
And if you are saying that Naruto is dumb, working too hard to master few jutsu, and as you are saying, not that powerful while sasuke masters everything in a very short time with amazing jutsu then you sir should just go read the whole damn manga again and again until you get that the WHOLE IDEA was that Sasuke is a genius that appears once in a generation while Naruto is a normal shinoby with potential, it's been a main theme, a normal guy surpassing a prodigy. Sasuke is only great because of his Sharingan, without it he would just be a normal shinoby with a few fire jutsu and some lightning techs, he mastered Chidory to such a high level because of his sharingan.
Naruto not smart? i would say that Sasuke is lately dumb, more than naruto has ever been, he is stupid, goes on fighting based on rage, without thinking, without a clear strategy, it if weren't for Itachi and Madara, Sauke would now be a blind shinoby, and actually a DEAD one. Lately Naruto has shown amazing analytical abilities, and he uses the shadow clones to get quick info from his enemy, and devise a plan.
Naruto not knowing many jutsu? just variants of the rasengan? so what it's the same with sasuke, he has many variants of Chidory.
