[Theory] Itachi's Gift To Naruto was a way to Unlock the Rinnegan?? Perhaps?

No possibility this theory comes to fruition.
If the crow was just a jutsu, why was it used to instill Naruto with SOME OF ITACHI'S POWER?
Did Itachi do something else to put his power in Naruto? NO! He used a CROW!!! :flaw:
Yeah the power hasn't been revealed... But if it were that easy to obtain a Rinnegan, every UZUMAKI would've been walking around with one!!!

but out of both those theories ill go with the first one
yeah.. dude i get your point.. well it was just another theory(its not like i believe in this theory either.. just debating the possibility)... i still believe in the first one.. the one in which itachi shows up and convinces sasuke..

Itachis gift is definitely a tool to help naruto realize the final realization. Probably that sometimes you have to let go.. thats my opinion

Itatchi doesent have the EMS dude... read the story!!! 1.why would he try to get sasukes eyes then?? 2. Sasuke has used Susanoo and Amaterasu WITHOUT EMS

For the record, the crow is simply the shape itachi's energy transfer technique took on, it doesnt mean when this power is released from naruto its just going to be a crow, because the way ur talking, thats what ur implying. Also where does it say Madara has the means of giving someone the Rinnegan????? nowhere... so there u go, itachi could easily give naruto the rinnegan if madara can, out of nowhere, possess the power to give somebody the rinnegan, so before you go flaming people about their posts, check your own first.
on topic, i hope we find out what it is itachi gave naruto soon so all these threads can come to a close, along with the 6th coffin threads. oo and ps

Maybe Itachi gift was a ability to counter genjutsu and exploit about weakness of Sharingan,,cuz i think it was useful and make sense than to awaken Rinnegan....

as far as madara n his rinnegan... i think that he may have given it to nagato like a mother gives her eggs to a serogate... mayb he gave nagato the power to unlock it, with the hopes that he would b able to get it from him or atleast use him n da long run... i doubt that itachi gave that ability to naruto tho...
THere is a simple reason why Naruto will not get the Rinnegan and subsequently any other eye jutsu/technique/type and that is because of the story that Madara told us of, the story of the origins of the war between the Uchiha descendants and the Senju descendants. ...
The upcoming Naruto and Sasuke battle will be made to play our the "Destined" fight between the Uchiha and the Senju, just as Madara and the 1st Hokage did. All conditions have been cleard. By that i mean Sasuke has attained the EMS, and has grown to be just as hateful as Madara was when he left the Hidden Leaf. Also Naruto has obtained the Kyuubi just as the 1st also attained it eventually for his battle against Madara.
Madara said that the two brothers had distinct gifts, the one having powerful ocular jutsus and great spiritual energy while the younger brother had physical strength and some other stuff i can't remember too well. Just re-read the corresponding chapter or watch 203-205 i'm sure it will be talked about in the coming episodes. And they battled with their set gifts as it were.
Hence i know for sure that he will not get any of the eyes. Notice how everything that Naruto trains with has to do with physical energy...

I think there is a secret to the EMS, maybe Itachi knew Sasuke would take his eyes. And get the EMS, but it's not about the user of the EMS, it's about the eye that's being used. And the gift could be to seal his own eyes, when Sasuke activates the EMS.
obviously Itachi's eye sight hadnt completely gone yet... and when sasuke used amaterasu on the octo-rap swordman guy, it showed in that ep that he started to loose a bit of his eye sight??? so did he really take itachi's eyes?
I don't see that happening though, that Itachi would go to such lengths as to seal his own eyes thus forasking his brother. I think that even Sasuke getting his eyes was within the scope of his plans and that he hoped that Sasuke would be able to go toe-to-toe with Madara. He had guessed that Sasuke could end up being Madara's pawn and surmised that giving him his eyes would give Sasuke a fighting chance against Madara, fro when he is eventually betrayed by Sasuke.U_U... Well maybe anyway

Yeah dude.. your missing a key point here.. if senju descent such as the uzumaki cant wield any sort of dojutsu.. what explains nagato having the rinnegan.. nagato was an uzumaki too... who is of senju descent.. just like naruto..
Hey i think you guys are forgetting one thing about the crow... sorry to bring it up again but Naruto was most definitely in a genjutsu at the time... maybe, so the crow could have been a scroll or somthing... i dont know, could be possible
^ we'll have to go with what Madara said about giving him the Rinnegan. Unfortunately we have no way of knowing and i doubt that Kishi would have Madara mention it unless there was an element of truth. That being said it doesn't mean there wasn't any mixing of clan blood but at that time Kushina should have been a Konoha resident. Nagato is most likely just the 1 in a million case of getting that set of eyes and the events that surround him getting it are just as mysterious, the only person that can provide answers for that is Madara.
