I know a shinigami can let go of there powers their Zanpaktou's and become human what would happen if you let go of the Zanpaktou spirit that resides in your sword?

.........well thats not the case for me because katsugaki is my inner spirit that is in my mind(like ichigo and his inner world) its the same for espada that rip their mask off and have to go through stages to acheive power.......but my vampire side affects my inner mind and they both make me crave sometimes

Heheh. You may not know but I was once Espada 5. Ranked right next to you. *Closes eye then opens it again and a number five is in my eye then I close and open again and its gone* And you don't have a bankai as an espada, you have a ressurection. U_U
