[Discussion] Seriously, Let's pray for Kishimoto's safety!

you did come from an ape, we evolved its a fact and it is proven, the earth is 5bln yrs old its proven, the oldest tree is about 6k years old its a fact it still exists go see it, as for genesis we cant prove its not true, but its pointless because noone has proven it and besides i dont see anyone trying to dissprove snow white, oh wait THE DWARFS REALLY DID EXIST OMG I NEVER NOTICED IT BEFORE
hawkings suggested the existence of God was unnecessary to explain the origin of the universe and he stated that he believed that the universe is governed by the laws of science
the vastness of the universe is so immense that a human mind simply cannot comprehend it, and it has many elements such as life in the places that have in some time become suitable for that form of life, but in time the conditions fade but somewhere else there just might be new conditions for new life to start
from the almost infinite matter troughout space some is bound to become ''special'' as in the form of life, but there might as well be forms of matter (or anything else yet undiscovered) that are far more complicated, complex or impressive than life forms
if this earth was uncapable of supporting life then we would not be here to argument about it, so it's realy not a valid and usable argument ...
and are we realy going to get into a religios debate here on this Forum?
I respect the people that chose religion but it's not what I belive in. I'm a man of science and I would wish that religious people respected that I am that way and not try to talk me over
the beautiful thing about the theory of a higher power is that it is just impossible to prove or disprove it, so people will always be devided about that topic.
the only thing that can be debated about and proven or disproven are the details,
I'll just take one example to explain my point:
take genesis. personaly, as a man of science I can not accept that we just appeard here on this earth on the seventh day and that woman are made from adam's rib because he was bored. serious evidence has been provided to confirm the evolution theory and that we are decendents from an ape like creature, BUT the reason why it happens is still a mistery. this could be that a higher power is controling our evolution, but there could also be a scientific explanation that we just haven't found yet.

Enough is enough. This thread is not meant for religious discussions. If you don't stop it, I'm going to start infracting you. This counts certainly for Mino, who began it all, and above all for forsteezygezzy as you are truly provoking people with that kind of stuff. Everyone has his own rights to feel compassionate with the people in Japan, whether it be by saying "I pray" or just in thoughts.
On top of that pray is just a verb or do you think that people who don't believe in anything can't pray? It's also just a common thing to say.
If you want to discuss religion, do it in the General Discussion section, however keep it clean and do not do it here or I'm going to start dealing out infractions or even bans as this is truly immoral. Entire trains have completely disappeared without a trace and you guys are discussing whether or not it's a punishment of a god.
If you don't want to pray, even though it doesn't need to have any kind of religious meaning, then at least hope that everything will be alright in Japan.

Wow. ^ So true do we not care about our fellow humans beings? If you seen the news this is crazy things like this been happening for like 2 years straight now. Its very selfish to sit here and think aleast it did not happen to me. Because if anything like this happen to you. Most of us would want someone to help us.
Just imagen the people who are under rubble. Who just sitting there now waiting for help. Rain is dripping on them though the cracks. Some people are drowning from the water. Radation is getting let into the air because of Nuclear let up so Nuclear plants won't melt down. This is seriously HELL ON EARTH.
You see cars going into the water like it was a home made water fall in the middle of a use to be busy town.
Also one of the places where America us drop the atomic bomb is scared from their own nuclear power plant is starting a phase of a melt down. If anyone read some of these books like Paper crain from victims who suffer radation poison and died from dieases like luikemia and cancer you would not be here talking about if GOD does or do not exist. Why would people want to argue about that if you don't believe don't call others stupid for walking in faith.
Last its many people risking their lives trying to save others. This is what humanity should be like saving and helping othersin need and less selfish in their own personal gain or intrest.

Sad part that it's not over yet, quakes still occur in Japan and as I have read in the newspaper it can go on like this for a month ...
Update: Death toll raised to 2800 and estimated to increase over time to around 10000 or more!!! Thanks for putting a hold on these debates!!! Lets just wish/pray for them to come out of this disaster with less death toll!!!!!
Thoughts with you. It's even more sad cause some ppl I have played with in FFXIV( suspended because of saving electricity until it solves out) gone missing.
It was not the earthquake which brought a disaster, it was a Tsunami afterwards. Japan has a really good protection against earthquakes. But against massive power of water they don't, noone does yet.

An update regarding the well being of Masashi Kishimoto. Supposedly he is alive according to the guys at Naruto Manga & Spoilers. Let's hope for a speedy recovery for the rest of the people of Japan.

I dont mean to debate and put people down, im just saying the bible has been proven correct and most of the top sciencetists in the world believe in god and most are christian because of science.
Science does answer the question of how things happen but it doesnt answer the WHY part.
Science explains how there is gravataional pull but why is there gravitational pool? Why do we exist? if there is no god, then there is no purpose for life.
where do morals come from? How do we understand good from bad?
If you wonder why did got put us on this earth and allow us to expierence all this evil?
well if we didnt know what evil was, how would we know that good was? if we couldn't see the darkness of this earth, how would we know the holyness of god?

I went to the link that Caliburn posted and I searched up Kisimoto-sensei's name and according to many sources that they have found he is safe I was really worried until I read this. To find it click on Caliburn's link and go to the search box and type Masashi Kishimoto then choose the bottom result and you'll see it. You may have to scroll down a little, but I'm sure you'll find relief from this information. It looks like Naruto will continue!!!
