Betrayal

Lavinia: I’ll see you tomorrow?

Tiberiu: Of course...*kiss*

Lavinia: Good night well what’s left of it *giggle*

Tiberiu: Farewell my love

Narrator: After saying their goodbyes, Tiberiu heads back to the castle.

Employees: Good night Lavinia

Lavinia: Good night to you all

Narrator: She turns in the opposite direction of her lovers and starts to make her way home on foot. A hand unexpectedly comes out from behind Lavinia’s head and covers her mouth.

Lulian: ...Shhhhhh..

Narrator: However, a person fortunately witnesses Lulian snatching the lass to then leaping onto a roof with ease.

Witness: (In thought) ...Oh my..I must get help!

[Setting Change: Sighisoara City, Forest]

*Howling sound*

Tiberiu: (In thought) I’m so hungry but the urge to feed on humans is something I will not concede..

Narrator: A pack of wolves can be heard nearby and their rambling alerts the starving Tiberiu.

Tiberiu: (In thought) ..I don’t have a choice..

Narrator: The vampiric male crept closer until the wolves were in clear sight.

*Wolf cries*

Narrator: One wolf is jumped and The huge dominating male’s neck is snapped before, the vampire leaped onto a tree in order to get away from the others and he then began to feed.

[Setting Change: Sighisoara City]

Narrator: Two huge illuminating eyes appear in front of the fleeing witness as he comes to a stop. He is then subjugated to hypnosis in which invokes him to jump off a building to his death.

Lulian: Now where were we?

Lavinia: Mmmm..mm

Lulian: Oh you would like to speak?

Lulian: I would just like to know one thing before I kill you...how could you steal what belongs to me?

Lulian: He is mine..ONLY MINE!!!

Narrator: Her eyes widen as she comes to realize what he meant.

Lulian: You are not even worthy of being my prey...

*Slicing sound*

Narrator: Lavinia is bombarded with slashes leaving her mutilated. Tears flow down the pale pure-blooded’s face as her unraveling body collapses onto the floor with blood spewing all over.

Lulian: Is this truly enough to satisfy my revenge?

[Setting Change: Lulian’s Castle]

*Doors creek open*

Tiberiu: (Shouts) ...Lulian are you there?!

Narrator: No sound is returned as the youthful resembling male checks a few places before ending his search in the coffin room.

Tiberiu: (Worried) I know you’ve always told me not to worry I just wonder where you are...dawn is nearing..

Tiberiu: (In thought) I’ll go back to sleep and I’m sure you’ll be next to me before long..

[Setting Change: Sibiu City, Village]

Lulian: It took me awhile to track you down but I have succeeded..

Stranger: (Frantic tone) ...Who are you?

Lulian: You need not know child *snickers*

Stranger: (Screaming) AHHHHH-

[Hours later]

[Setting Change: Lulian’s Castle, Nightfall]

Narrator: Two figures cloaked in a dark-red hooded coat enter the castle. Tiberiu wakes up from his slumber catching onto a familiar scent as well as another that was off.

Tiberiu: (In thought) He’s here...with someone?

Narrator: Exiting the coffin, he then scurried off.

Tiberiu: Luli-

Narrator: Unveiling himself, a smirk is then followed.

Lulian: (Whispered tone) You may expose yourself..

Narrator: Eyes enlarge as he bares witness to his brother by Lulian’s side.

Tiberiu: .....Horatiu...

Tiberiu: Lulian..what is the meaning of this?

Lulian: *Snickers* What..your not happy to see your younger brother? I brought him for you..

[Horatiu’s Identity Revealed]

[Side Character Insight:
Horatiu]

Tiberiu: (In thought) His skin looks so pale..*gasp*

Tiberiu: You didn’t..how did you even know where to find hi-

Lulian: Isn’t it simple...it is me you’re referring to..no?

Tiberiu: (Shouts) I WANT TO KNO-

Lulian: Play with him..

Horatiu: ...

Narrator: The young boy rushes before his vampiric brother; jumping over him and returning slashes onto his body repeatedly.

Tiberiu: (Screaming) STO-

Lulian: (Shouts) Enough!

Narrator: Bloody gashes covers Tiberiu’s body and his brother abruptly subsides.

Lulian: I suppose I will let you know why.....YOU BETRAYED ME!!!!!

Narrator: A look of disbelief is plastered upon Tiberiu’s face.

Tiberiu: *Gasps* (In thought) Lavi..na

Lulian: End it...

Narrator: Horatiu bites a finger and the blood that drips out forms into long slender blade-like shapes that extend a couple feet in length over each fingertip. He then lunges toward his brother. Years of practice involuntarily has Tiberiu slice his hand and the blood that flowed formed a scythe-like weapon in order to defend himself in split seconds.

Lulian: As expected of my former pupil..*grimace*

Narrator: Suddenly droplets of blood are spattered upon Tiberiu’s face from the inflicted wound through his brother’s heart.

Lulian: You took too long therefore I thought disposing of the failure would be more beneficiary.

Tiberiu: *Panting* Ho...Hora..

Narrator: A cane-like length stake is removed from the open gash. Horatiu abruptly becomes teary eyed even though he is still under hypnosis.

Lulian: (In thought) This boy regained consciousness after that fatal wound...although it is inferior to what Tiberiu can accomplish

Lulian: I’ll part from you for now but remember this..you will never be completely rid of me...*snickers*

Lulian: You have my coffin? *shriekING SOUND*

Follower III: Yes master..

Narrator: The decision to reunite and once again travel with his former followers after having disbanded with them in order to train and spend time with his apprentice was the result of Tiberiu’s betrayal.

Lulian: Let us be on our way then...

Narrator: As stated, the cruel pure blood departs alongside his followers equipped with their coffins respectively, leaving his former partner with a broken mentality embracing what is left of his disintegrating brother. Shortly after, ash is all that remains and Tiberiu still remaining unmoved. Revenge plots are contemplated by the mutated vampire in which replay over and over in many different ways.

Act II End

Two tragedies, the one at fault loose, the one in never ending turmoil plots revenge, what will become of this?

[Insight: Pureblood Vampire]

† Description: Is the result of one born from a genuine vampire mother and father. Pure blooded vampires are rare.

† Appearance: Is one who has vampire ethnicity and is born into or owns great power and money. An aristocrat of sorts.
[Insight: Turned Vampire]

† Description: Is the result of a human bitten and sucked to death by a vampire who chooses to turn their victim thus is cursed and transforms sometime within the hour.

† Appearance: Will usually be a human who cannot fend for themselves. A tramp or an unfortunate victim in the wrong place.

[Insight: Mutated Vampire]

† Description: This occurrence is unique and the result of Tiberiu’s soul not being able to normally pass on as due others who are turned.

† In Tiberiu's case, he was bitten and sucked to death by a vampire who chose not to turn their victim thus at that time somehow a mutation occurred rather than death. The soul was imprisoned from continuing onto the afterlife and subdued into an enforced transformation. His form is unique as he died never turning into a vampire and was then forcefully given life again. He was re-birthed with vampire-like qualities. A mutated vampire has not been ranked due to this being the first of its kind.

But "sigh...." it's about vampires..... Lol jokes kuroi just playing..
To be honest it's growing on me..I'm a go and read the last chapter and this one again thoroughly later and try to get a better mental picture about whats taking place because I tend to get lost here and there lol. Till then Im just gonna leave it as it is.

Well I do thank you for that compliment however, I must say that I unfortunately am not the first one to come up with that as off the top of my head the anime Nightwalker: The Midnight Detective and manga/anime Vamipre Knight have both used this concept of blood weapons far before me. Therefore, I will not take that credit -_-

As for the chapter - loosing the woman he loves plus his brother?! That sure is tormenting. I still could not understand though, why Lulian acts as such toward Tiberiu? He's not gay, isn't he?LOL! nah, just a passing thought, actually...

I'm seeing a normal revenge and avenger plot as of the moment. Yet, knowing how you twisted things in your Black Despair story, I,m sure there still are a lot to come.

It is however, I can’t tell you how many different ways the concept of vamps have been used in novels, movies, anime, manga, etc. The list goes on and on. Plus the plot of revenge-Sasuke much? I will say that his character being my favorite may have had an influence within my main character ^.^ Like I said above the blooded weapons are not original either but other than thaose facts, everything else is out of my head and thank you for the support/compliments!

I mean I knew that it was not original and decided to go with the idea but tweak into my style. However, when I got recognition for it I felt really bad as it has been done before just in different manners. You made me feel so much better. I mean it! Great chapter once again Kuroi. As some mentioned, the plot is starting to evolve for real, and I like the way it's going. I'm guessing the main setting for this story is the revenge part, so naturally you would have to move the plot in a faster pace than some might thought. I had a feeling she would die, but not right away though. And the part with bringing his brother in felt a little rushed, or maybe it's just me who needs to re-read as it was good, just that I think you could have added something more on that part, but I don't think that will matter too much though.

Did I miss the part where Lulian told him that he killed her? As I understood, he figured that Lulian was mad about him and her, but not that Lulian killed her. Maybe I just didn't catch it

Anyways, I like the plot so far and I'm sure it will get even better. I just hope you will be able to keep it... well deep enough so that it won't get repetive. Maybe adding some other supporting characters, like someone who also wants revenge on Lulian or something. For some reason, this kind of reminds me of a mix between Van Helsing and some Dracula movie
