based on what konan said he got all the jutsu six paths had,,but all that aside..I agree with u..and thats why I'm wondering why he should become madara's subordinate

because madara's far more clever. he promised pain a world of peace and pain followed. apart from that madara has tons of tricks in his sleeve, and like i said, madara seemed to be about as strong as what we saw of pain before he got the rinnegan.
yes, naruto had help.
no, nagato is not stupid, he is just not the smartest. Or he is dumber than other characters, take it however you want it.
Nagato was stronger than Naruto by that point indeed, but by now naruto surpassed him.
and nagato is most likely weaker than madara, but we can't prove either way. It's just logically that Kishi kept the strongest villain alive so that he can face naruto.

that's not entirely what i mean, nagato was able to use all the jutsu his six paths of pain could use, yes, but had that been all jutsus that the six paths (deva...) could possibly have?

Yes and madara at some poit possed the rinnegan vefore giving it to nagato. so he is aware of its capabilities, strong points and weak points.
The rinnegan is definately stronger.

We can tell that Rinnengan is stronger than EMS, bicouse Nagato wasn't skilled at all compare to Madara And Sage of the six paths, and even Nagato could beat EMS, but he could beat only if he have all the six pains I think... And speaking about Madara, I guess he will don't need pains, he will be able to use all the pain jutsus all by himself, and he self said that he gave nagato the Rinnengan, and the rinnengan was him to begin with, so that means, that Madara know about Rinnengan almost or the same like Rikudou sennin (SO6P), after all Madara is the strongest shinobi, and we will see what Rinnengan can do with all the power, and the right user.

There is a reason why Kisi listed the eyes from greatness byakugan is the base and can only read a small part of a tablet. Sharingan can read what the byakugan read and the Rinnegan can read the whole thing.

madara was shown to be stronger than pein, pein if anything was his equal or stronger. Pein just lost his purpose of life and needed something/someone who could direct him somewhere. Madara was just a stronger leader and was able to gain followers no matter their strength, kinda like Naurto. rinnegan> EMS

As for why Nagato followed Madara it was simply by words (if naruto changed him by words why couldn't Madara?) whatever Madara told Nagato before they joined up In other words Madara manipulated Nagato into thinking that his way was the only way to peace it is the same thing he has done to Sasuke.

the rinnegan is stronger thats why there is only one set of them there has been two ppl in naruto history that got the EMS sasuke and madara the rinnegan was the original sages dojutsu it is the best

rinnegan is way stronger, nagato chose to follow madara, and later chose to follow naruto because he was weak minded, and lacked convinction. both naruto and madara are stronger leaders because they accomplish everything they put their mind to regardless of the skill level they are at
