fan fiction idea: the 12 sword collection

im thinking of new fanfic ideas tell me what you think of this one

The 12 Sword Collection.

a 13 year old junior high student is contacted by an ancestor one night in his sleep.
the ancestor tells him that he was once a great demon slayer and that he is his
reincarnation and a powerful demon that he thought he had killed centuries ago has re awaken.
he tells the boy that he must go too his ancestors grave and lay his hand
on his stone, once he does then he will gain all of his ancestors abilities and memories but if he
doesn't then the demon will take his revenge by destroying and killing everything in sight.
but can this 13 year old junior high student live up to his ancestor?

EDIT:

attention, eltwist6 has gave me the idea of changing the swords from demons to zodiac signs.
each sword will have a zodiac animal and the holder of the sword will gain the abilities of that animal. *note im not sure if im using this or not...but more than likely i will*

here is the list of swords

1st sword, sword of aries. Rat *you will have quick precision and movements*

2nd sword, sword of Taurus. Ox *you will have incredible speed and increased stamina*

3rd sword, sword of Gemini. Tiger *this has the sharpest blade and gives you quick sword movements*

4th sword, sword sword of Cancer.Rabbit *gives you the mirror image attack, which will be explained*

5th sword, sword sword of Leo. Dragon. *gives you increased energy and heals 50% of body wombs it also gives fire abilities*

6th sword, sword of Virgo. Snake *increased ability of direct attacks and manipulation skills*

7th sword, sword of Libra. Horse *increased wits and the ability to see attacks 3 seconds before they happen*

8th sword, of Scorpio. Goat. *clear mind and peacefulness it increases fighting abilities and makes you one with water*

9th sword, sword of Sagittarius. Monkey *can copy attack movements and any movements of your opponent*

10th sword, sword of Capricorn. Rooster *gives you graceful sword skills and techniques*

11th sword, sword of Aquarius. *gives you the ability of using up too three swords at once with out flaw*

12th sword, sword of Pisces. Pig. *gives you every ability of swords 1-11*

each sword carries a sealed demon.
when you hold one of the swords in hand then you gain the power of the demon sealed in it.

the first sword being the weakest and the 12th sword being the strongest.

Picses is Op'ed and why didn't you use the correct animal in accordance with the Zodiac .. for example I am Cancer so I am crab .. Sword abilities could be balance in attack in defense and something along the lines which crabs are capable of ..

it was hard for me too get all of the animals so i just settled for those...
so i guess im going to go with the demon idea instead

Hmm, okay. I just actually noticed though that everything is messed up. You see, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc are astrological zodiac signs and they represent constellations. The Chinese zodiac signs are purely animals and they are not to be mixed together. Unless, what you're doing here is that you were just using the Astrological Zodiac signs to name the Chinese Animal Signs. Is that it?

However, for someone like me, who is fascinated about zodiac signs (chinese & astro) and the constellations too, I certainly find it quite an uncomfortable idea and so out of place.

Each of these signs have personalities, characteristics, occurrences and representations. If you use them to symbolize one ability to the other then, the logic behind a certain ability's idea just would not make sense.

If the sole purpose of your using the astrological signs as names for the chinese animal signs then, I suggest that you use them on the animal shape that they form. And for those stars that are non-animals, search up the Chinese dieties, and gods. They have certain names for those.

So, since the constellation Aries form a Ram, I think you should give that to the sheep. Cancer is a crab, pisces is a fish, Taurus is a bull so you can give it to ox, I believe they have Susako as a phoenix so, you can give that to the rooster...
