Garra vs. Itachi

We all know how strong Itachi is, especially against those who use physical attacks and are active fighters. However, Garra is also quite powerful and doesnt use any direct attacks for him to get caught with anything. This I think this would be a very interesting match, and I know many of you would think Itachi, but think about think fully and how Garra's fighting style would fit against him.

hmm, before i make my desiocion, if garra used his shield of sand, and used that sand eye to see his opponets while hidden in the shield, and itatchi used a genjutsu, would garra be under the genjutsu for looking at it, or would he not since his sand eye is looking at it?

honestly gaara wouldnt stand a chance why u ask well deidara defeated gaara and sasuke defeated deidara and itachi is just as powerfull as sasuke so

a lot of people is saying that deidara defeated gaara when actually it´s not quite true. the thing is gaara used most of his chakra to protect his village from deidara´s clay bomb, that´s why he lost. if it would be 1 vs 1 with nothing to hold gaara back, i think gaara would defeat deidara. well, back to topic, itachi would defeat gaara

I had a feeling someone would mention that, but deidara only who once he was able to slip his lil bombs into Garra's main sand sheild, and he knew Garra's tech.

Gaara's defense is not withstanding Amaterasu or Susanoo.

Gaara's sand of shield won't stand a chance against Itachi's Amaterasu. And I also think Gaara will have trouble with Itachi's genjutsus.

I think Itachi would have a hard time gettin away from all his sand, just like the fight he had against Kimmaru (i think thats his name) and that was when he was younger. I dont think genjutsus would affect him as we mentioned, he could that eye tech. and even if it did the sand automatically protects him

Gaara's defense is not withstanding Amaterasu or Susanoo.

garra does have ariel attacks as well, so it maybe hard for susanoo or ameretsu to reach him

Yea its pretty hard for anyone to beat Itachi he is like the second best guy in Astu after Pain. The eye puts lots of fight against him down like quick work. Also I think Itachi still knows how to kill with his weapons and hands he is also fast it says his hand signals no one can hardly see. Itachi is just a beast lol

Itachi is incredibly fast he would dodge Gaara's sand attacks easily just as Sasuke has and how Lee did.He also has the Sharingan which can read the movements of the sand and he can dodge accordingly.And who says genjutsu wouldnt work even if he was in his sand bubble using his Third Eye technique the third eye is still directly linked to Gaara's vision.So in that sense the Third Eye could get gaught in a genjutsu.Also itachi could just destroy it with his water tech.The sand does not autimatically protect him anymore after the extraction of his Bijuu.So Itachi would use his speed to find an opening and kill gaara or if Gaara was locked in his sand bubble Itachi could use the water clone explosion technique to knock down his shield and send him flying.Then he burns him with amaterasu since amaterasu cannot burn through his sand.

Itachi would not let him fly away he would put him in a genjutsu using Tsukyomi.

ok, i understood some of what u said, but would the really matter against someone Garra.?

Yes even if he can't do what fang said with the more power genjussu he can still use
Dusk Crow Genjutsu without eye contact. He would get to close to Garaa then. Even if Garaa gets out of it then he wouldn't know how to handle close hand to hand combat like Itachi can. Also Itachi is more smarter in battle than Garaa he would figure out a way.

Also he could use Ephemeral and simply point at Gaara and he would be trapped in a genjutsu.

I said that Amaterasu wouldn't work on Gaara's chakra enhanced sand.
But i'm sure Itachi's sword of Totsuka could pierce Gaara's sand like paper.
And itachi's water tech would render his sand temporarily useless.
