so wat hes a legendary sanin, itachi owned oro like nothing and hes a sanin and in my opinion oro is stronger than jiraiya so itachi wins this easily with his mangekyou sharingan.

Itachi was just saying that because he still loves his home village.
He was just bulshitting because he did not want to take out one of Konoha's heavy hitters and further stain his name.

When naruto was off training with Jiraiya (just them two alone) Itachi and Kisame were hunting for Naruto. Keep in mind, this time i'm talking about is when they're traveling near a forest in a secluded area. Itachi states he does not want a confrontation with Jiraiya because of his power.

itachi never went looking for naruto he went to konoha to remind the elders hes still alive after 3rd died
and he NEVER intended to get in any conflicts with any of konoha shinobi because he didnt want to hurt anyone

Im speaking for Itachi with facts because when Madara was talking to Sasuke about Itachi's true story he included that he loved his clan very much but he loved the village even more thats why he assassinated his clan with the exception of Sasuke.
Itachi was forced to choose between Clan or village and choose the village so why would he want to cripple Konoha's military power by taking out one of their best shinobi.
Think about it after all Every konoha shinobi he encountered he spared.
Kurenai, itachi could have killed her when they first met easily.
Itachi could have also killed Asuma after he was done with kurenai.
Itachi could have killed kakashi on both occasions they met but just left.
And itachi could have killed Jiraiya when he trapped them in the toads mouth.
Itachi could have killed Naruto or captured him every time they encountered.
Itachi could have killed a Sasuke on three seperate occasions but spared him due to him being his beloved little brother.
So before you say im talking out of my ass reread the entire manga and see all the events i've typed up for and see that itachi could have raped the konoha ninja he encountered.
Your obviously a noob!!! And your not gonna prove to me otherwise unless you have a logical explanation of why Jiraiya would kill Itachi.

Thats still no fact that he could of taken jiraiya lmao, not a single one of those comparing a battle between jiraiya and itachi, your speaking out your ass once more, his assassinating the clan v a fight between jiraiya and itachi? change of subject... *you have no facts that at the time he encountered jiraiya with kisame, that what he said was true or false* your speaking out your ass to say other wise, because it has yet to be confirmed by kishi... Is itachi a powerful ninja? he most certainly is, BUT whose to say he had susanoos full form at the time of their meeting? whose to say he had the legendary weapons at the time of their meeting? Whose to say gamabunta or the other 2 huge frogs can or cannot recognize the legendary items, and dodge them till itachi is out of chakra? A average size frog blocked a swing from the powerful kisame with the mighty samehada, They retreated and were the first two to escape out of the toad stomach jutsu... NOW for a actual battle between the two alone, appearently tsukuyomi was broken by sasuke, imagine a battle hardened veteran like jiraiya, with toads... or just ma and pa alone, it'd be a easy counter... Now let go ahead and counter amaterasu for you, do you recall when sasuke and itachi were fighting, and itachi was *trying* to hit sasuke with amaterasu, and sasuke was dodging it by mere running, now imagine a sage mode jiraiya moving supersonic speed you really think its gonna hit him?? now read what i said earlier about susanoo... on that same note, if itachi really wanted to kill sasuke he would of, and on another note im doing the same thing your doing making my own story up in my head and posting it, it goes both ways, both of the ninjas are too powerful

Well lets see if jiraiya would be able to take out the entire uchiha clan! It wouldn't happen.
Lets see jiraiya even touch Deidara let alone alomost make him kill himself.
How about Jiraiya cut off Orochimaru's arm without barely lifting a finger.
Jiraiya would just plain and simply not win on any of these esp not against itachi.you say how would Itachi catch jiraiya with amaterasu when in Sage mode?Who says Itachi lets jiraiya go into sage mode in the first place.
ok a lot of ppl will argue but Itachi did say that they would probably die together if they were to fight. I believe that would happen since Itachi always said everything the way it was and he was not one to make mistakes. Just because I like Itachi better then the frog sannin or anyone for that matter, Ill say Itachi pwns.

U are out of your lead kid if u know Itachi and Sasuke or the Uchiha as much as i do u would know the Itachi would win because of Black Flames it goes or tair threw anything and Susanoo'o is a bonus with Black Flames say if Itachi gave half hia power to Sasuke and Itachi uses Susanoo'o if Itachi blocks with the big shield Amaterasu will kill him + Itachi's speed is off the charts genjustus will mak Jirayia go crazy even thought he's a Sannin there's nothing more to it

if jiraya is in sage mode there is chance he wins first genjutsu wont work on him because he has 2 of the frog sages on him transfering chakra 2nd his speed goes off limit and itachi even with sharigan cant always see his movements(only see he can still know where he will be hit) and use amaterasu ... as for susano'o i havent thought of anything good ;d but still you get the point
