Both Teams square off a few hundred feet from an active volcano that spills off a cliff edge into a sea about a quarter mile down. In one corner; Kakashi, Yamato, Naruto, Sakura, and Sai. In the other; Sasuke, Suigetsu, Juugo and Karin. Who's best suited to take out who? What team is left standing, and how many of them?

I think Team 7 would win.
Sakura vs karin. Sakura would with just fro her strength.
Si vs suigetsu. I dont know any of there moves lol...
Kakashi vs juggo. kakashi obviusly XD
Naruto vs sasuke. Tie
hawk doesnt stand a chance at all XD and yamato... o dont know... mabye he could fight with sai?

So the fight is: Karin, Suigetsu, Juugo and Sasuke vs. Sakura, Sai, Kakashi and Naruto? i'll leave Yamato out due to the numbers :/ though with him on board, It goes to team seven
in terms of Medical ninja, i think Karin is much better than Sakura due to her healing bite being instanteanous whereas Sakura's isn't but in terms of fighting, she wins due to Karin having hardly nothing in terms of offense.
Suigetsu is a good fighter, especially with Zabuza's sword and because of his water ability, imo would be too much for sai to handle with just ink so i think kakashi would fight suigetsu because of his lightning affinity and other elements that would be better suited to fighting Suigetsu.
This leaves Juugo v Sai and again, i think Sai would lose if he relies on ink because i don't think ink alone will be able to defeat the raw, brute strength of juugo (especially when he goes berserk) Overall, Sai has a good chance of being beat by the male characters because his main fighting style is not really offensive but used more for espionage and covert tactics.
Though the battle will obviously be swayed by Naruto and if he has sufficient time to go into Sage mode. Though if he's fighting Sasuke, there will be minimal chance of that happening. If he is able to get into the mode, he can fight Sasuke on equal terms and maybe even defeat juugo/suigetsu quite quickly if he can throw a rasenshuriken (though i'm not sure if it works with suigetsu)
In summary:
Karin v Sakura: Sakura Win - Meaning the team has no medic
Suigetsu v Sai: Suigetsu or Suigetsu v Kakashi: Kakashi
Juugo v Sai: Juugo or Juugo v Kakashi: Kakashi
Naruto v Sasuke: To tell you the truth, i'll have to go with Sasuke.

That really can't be decided by just saying who's better than who because it all depends on the tactics both team uses. That part of the fight is unpredictable
Not necessarily. Difficult to know for sure, but this is all conjecture. Overall I think Squad 7 has a better team dynamic and Kakashi's a much better leader and tactician. Generally you can expect Squad 7 to be more flexible in it's options, whereas the Taka tend to hang back and operate as support for Sasuke, jumping in only if he's hit, or they can take advantage of an opening he's made. Sasuke's tactic will be to keep it this way, and not allow for his team to get caught up in individual battles. A difficult thing to help for sure, but he is probably the fastest one on this battle field. Kakashi probably knows you have to fight Sharingan with Sharingan, so i expect he'd be at the front helping Naruto handle him. Rather than engage everyone else, Suigetsu ought to protect Karin, while Juugo uses a large destructive move to momentarily hold back Kakashi, Yamato, and Naruto, forcing them to take cover so Sasuke can swiftly mop up Sai and Sakura. Kakashi would probably see this far into the fight before the kirst kunai was thrown. Ultimately I do say squad seven for the win, but there's a lot of tactics that'd have to go to work here. The heavy hitters both in strategy and power are Sasuke, Naruto, and Kakashi, and honestly I think before the fight was over, those would be the only three standing... come to think of it, Kakashi's got notoriously low Chakra, so he'd probably only manage to keep Naruto from being killed until he entered into sage mode, which leaves us with THE match of the whole show, and Madara seems to think Naruto's the more powerful at this point (Or at least he said that to Sasuke, though he might have just been riling him). Sasuke's been slipping lately though so I tend to agree.
ofcourse team 7 will against taka eventhough taka has sasuke but the other three members of taka doesnt stand a chance against the team seven members.so team 7 victorious but at last it will b sasuke,kakshi,yamato n naruto left standing
Well actually, all of them would just die, or taken out of battle, if they didn't run from Sasuke and Naruto, they would either get caught buy rasenshuriken or burned by amaterasu.
In the end i think Team 7 would win, not because Naruto is the strongest or that kind of stuff, but mostly because of Kakashi's tactical abilities.

While she's dodging them yamato and sai can come in and yamato can use some earth release techniques to combat suigetsu's earth release and sai can distract jugo while kakashi finishes them off. Meanwhile sakura can provide medical support if needed. Naruto handles Sasuke and that will probably end in a stalemate.

Suigetsu and Juugo are often underestimated, yes. Juugo's got some raw destructive power going for him, but maybe not as much as Yamato's earth attacks, or Naruto and Sakura's pure strength. He can take a hit, that's for sure. I'd like to see Sakura and Yamato team up on him. The thing about Suigetsu is that he's damn near impossible to kill. He took a full blast from the 8 tails (presumably as powerful as Naruto's attack that destroyed Orochimaru's three rashomon) to the face, and it merely knocked him out. Though, I think Naruto's power and Kakashi's tactics are the deciding factors in this match.
